Redirecting to Pokéradar
Line 1: Line 1:
Chaining is a commonly-used feature of the Pokéradar. The goal of a chain is to find and capture a shiny Pokémon. Because the probability of encountering a shiny Pokémon increases along with the length of the chain, it is recommended to get a chain of 20 to 40 Pokémon and reset the Pokéradar until a shiny patch of grass, with a shiny Pokémon hiding in it, appears.

The Pokétch application Trainer Counter, given to the player by Professor Oak, indicates the player's three longest chains.
