Cranidos (Japanese: ズガイドス Zugaidos) is a Rock-type Pokémon. It is available in Generation IV games. Like Shieldon, Kabuto, Omanyte, Aerodactyl, Anorith, and Lileep, this Pokémon was cloned from a fossil, in this case the Skull Fossil.
Biology
Physiology
Cranidos is a grey, dinosaur-like Pokémon. Cranidos's back half of its body is blue and it has a short tail. Cranidos also has stubby arms, but it can still attack with them. Cranidos has a hooked beak, red eyes, four spikes and a dome-shaped head that is colored blue.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Cranidos's main attacking prowess involves charging head-first into its opponents. Cranidos can also use various special attacks, but is much weaker with those kinds of moves.
Behavior
Habitat
Cranidos once lived in dense forests, but has been extinct from the wild for 100 million years and only exists via being cloned from fossil samples.

In the anime
A Cranidos appears in both Shapes of Things to Come and A Gruff Act to Follow under the ownership of Roark. It evolved into Rampardos.
In the manga
A Cranidos is owned by Roark, which he sends out against Berlitz in her gym match.
