The Island Cave (Japanese: こじまのよこあな Islet Cave) is a location in Hoenn on a small island on Route 105. In the inner chamber, Regice can be found at level 40; it will have the moveset Icy Wind, Curse, Superpower, and AncientPower.
Encounter with Regice
In order to enter the cave, the Braille puzzle in the Sealed Chamber on Route 134 must be completed.
In Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, after the door has opened, reading the Braille inside and simply standing in the same place for two minutes (even if the game's battery has run dry and time-based events no longer occur) without touching the game will open the door to Regice's room. The Braille reads: "Stop and wait. Wait for time to pass twice."
In Emerald, however, the player must make a counterclockwise lap of the chamber, sticking close to the walls, after reading the inscription. This will open the door and allow one to face Regice. The Braille reads: "Stay close to the wall. Run around one lap."
