Celestial Tower (Japanese: タワーオブヘブン Tower of Heaven) is a location situated in central western Unova which can be considered a counterpart to Kanto's Pokémon Tower, Hoenn's Mt. Pyre, and Sinnoh's Lost Tower. The player follows Skyla here when she leaves her Gym to care for a fainted Template:Type2 Pokémon she saw at the tower's top while piloting her cargo plane. Upon arriving, she says that she gave the Pokémon a Max Revive, and it flew off. She then asks the player to ring the bell on top of the tower. The bell's sound is said to reflect the nature of the one who rang it. Celestial Tower is a burial place for deceased Pokémon. One man who is not in the tower says that he must go there to ring the tower's bell for his Petilil.
If the player returns to the top of the tower after defeating Ghetsis and Team Plasma at N's Castle, Alder, the Champion of Unova, is found ringing the bell. He tells the player that he is ringing the bell to comfort the spirit of his very first Pokémon, which is now deceased. He then challenges the player to come to the Pokémon League again in order to battle him and the Elite Four, before leaving the tower. Alder also mentions that he and his Pokémon were madly pursuing strength, much in the same way that Cheren does.
