Blizzard Island (Japanese: ふぶきのしま Blizzard Island) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It is unlocked after graduating from the Wigglytuff Guild, doing two optional jobs and then talking to Mr. Mime. Upon talking to Mr. Mime, he will talk about a famous explorer called Scizor, who embarked on an expedition to the dungeon long ago and never returned; near the Kecleon Shop, or outside Spinda's Café in Sky. It has a total of 20 floors. Completing Blizzard Island grants access to a cave on Blizzard Island, Crevice Cave.

Trivia

  • The music in this dungeon is a medley of remixes from the previous game, including Mt. Freeze Peak, Sky Tower, Mt. Thunder, and Thunderwave Cave played in that order. The Sky Jukebox states this in "Blizzard Island Rescue Team Medley".
  • In the Special Episode, In the Future of Darkness, Grovyle and Dusknoir visit the future version of Blizzard Island, now known as Frozen Island.
  • Completing Blizzard Island after defeating Froslass at the end of Crevice Cave will not transport the player to the waypoint just before Crevice Cave. Therefore, it is impossible to return to the waypoint after completion of Crevice Cave and Deep Crevice Cave.
