The point of Archiving is to keep page history and conversations, and those aren't something you can just wish away with the delete tag. I do admit we make mistakes at the beginning: when I archived my first talk page, it only had 83 sections. Since Archive three, I've been archiving at 100. It is impossible to go back and change the first one to have 100 sections, so I just have to live with it. That is what you also need to do. I saw your message on another page and I know how you feel. Most of the time I always forget to screen what I write to validate if the wording is correct. It happens all the time. That's why on forums I am more prone to screening a long message and having my friend check it on his word document when I'm at his house on my computer.
