Effect

Generation III

Skill Swap will exchange the Abilities of the user and the target.

Generation IV

Same as before, except now the Abilities Wonder Guard and Multitype cannot be Skill Swapped.

Generation V

Same as before, except certain Abilities that normally only activate when a Pokémon is sent out, such as Intimidate, will activate after being switched via Skill Swap.
