A gentleman says he lost a coin on one leg of the trip, whereas another guy in the same room on the other leg says he found it. Im assuming this to be an easter egg or joke or something but I wanted to ask about it here first, before i go editing the page. Either way, I think its weird enough to warrant mention. About trainers
Whoever's adding trainers should note that the trainer battles are different for the first trip on the boat (when you get the Metal Coat, going to Vermilion City). Also, is there a way to get rid of the Pokegear Phone disclaimer, as it doesn't apply in this case? IIMarckus 04:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- In that case, you should add it (unless you passed it already)... ht14 12:06, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Just close up the table with a |}, rather than the disclaimer. They don't get tougher, though? Ever? TTEchidna 17:56, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
question
Hey, is it only me, or the S.S.Aqua Passengers cannot be rebattled? Piotr mil 23:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- I was about to point out the same thing. Or at least that's what I've found (in HGSS)--Oatzy 17:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- You took the ferry a second time and couldn't fight them again? Hmm...must be a HGSS change. Drake Clawfang 01:35, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- Confirming this as well. Unless there was a way to 'reset' this by action or by time...? HechEff 01:06, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- This is the case for me too. I'm not really complaining though, since on the olivine-to-vermilion trip there's a trainer you can't avoid running right in front of to get to the captain for your plate and it's nice not to have to fight him again and again. --Toksyuryel 10:51, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- In SS on my second voyage (I can't remember the direction) I definitely got stopped for a battle by the sailor that you have to run past to get to the captain, and I entered one cabin and got battled there, so maybe it's just a time thing? My second voyage wasn't until after I had 15 or 16 badges, so there was plenty of time between them. Werdnae (talk) 18:34, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- The very first trip doesn't seem to count for the trainers, I had the same experience. Now though, he won't battle me anymore. It looks like you get three fights: the trainers on the first trip from olivine to vermilion, the trainers on the first return trip from vermilion to olivine, and the trainers on the first repeat trip from olivine to vermilion. After that, I don't think they'll fight you again. --Toksyuryel 22:33, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
- That's very unfortunate. Now it seems that the only reason to keep the S.S. Aqua ticket is to meet with Sabrina/Natsume. I still wonder why the developers made this travelling option redundant now... HechEff 22:49, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- And getting plates. --Toksyuryel 02:52, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, they took the easiest way to earn money and experience. Piotr mil 14:43, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Image switch
Under the "Items" section, we should have that style-switcher thing (like on Arceus' page) that changes the plate image every hour or so, because the plate changes randomly everyday. Takharii ~ Talk! 05:59, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
- According to this it changes by index number. I've noted that and set the sprite to switch daily. Werdnae (talk) 06:38, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Map location
Why don't we use the location isplayed by the map when viewed on the ship? It appears somewhere to the south between Johto and Kanto, below Routes 27 and 28. --SnorlaxMonster 11:27, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Glitch?
In HGSS if your in a double battle between the 2 Pokéfans with 8 pokemon, would that be a glitch? (also, if something's wrong with this, it's my 1st time on Bulbapedia) 7777822 22:43, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
