Trivia
Klinklang and its evolutionary relatives are the only pure Steel-type Pokémon related by evolution .
Klinklang and its evolutionary relatives are the only non-Electric-type Pokémon able to learn ThunderShock .
Klinklang is the same height as its pre-evolution.
Origin
Klinklang is based on interlocking gears, more specifically a combination of sun and planet gears , a bevel gear and an external gear . The Klink line's Shiny coloration may have been based on copper gears, as their noses have turned green as copper does when it oxidizes into such compounds as copper carbonate , forming a patina.
Name origin
Klinklang is derived from clink and clang , both of which its pre-evolutions are named after. Like Klink , part of its name may come from link . Gigigiaru is probably derived from ギア gia (gear).
