Route 13 (Japanese: １３ばんどうろ Route 13) is a beach route in western Unova, connecting Lacunosa Town and Undella Town. It also gives access to the Giant Chasm. It is renowned for its sand bars, seaside scenery and plentiful waters, with large cliff-like outcrops which are covered in lush grass, full of Pokémon. Many rare items can be found hidden on this route, and there are very unique Trainers here.

In Black 2 and White 2, the player encounters Cobalion here where it waits in order to be caught.

Route description

Route 13 is a relatively long, winding route connecting Lacunosa Town to Undella Town. The major feature of this route is the Giant Chasm. There are several items around the route and along the coasts of smaller islands; these items will eventually regenerate. On a western chunk of the route, a treasure hunter will give the player a random item every day. Even further west, there is a house where an old man will teach a starter Pokémon Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, or Hydro Cannon, repsective to its type.
