Togekiss (Japanese: トゲキッス Togekiss) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Togetic when exposed to a Shiny Stone. It is the final form of Togepi.
Biology
Physiology
Togekiss is a vaguely avian Pokémon with an egg-shaped body. It is covered in white, downy feathers and has broad, triangle-shaped wings that allow it to soar effortlessly. Interestingly, Togekiss lacks the stubby arms that its pre-evolutions had. Its underbelly is dotted with the small red and blue triangular spots that are the signature of the Togepi evolution family. Togekiss has very small feet which are set close together, making them somewhat awkward for moving about on the ground. The former spikes on its head have grown into a three-pointed crest. The middle point is white all the way to the tip, but the left and right spikes are tipped in blue and red respectively.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Togekiss learns a wide range of elemental attacks, as well as various aerial and wind-based moves. Most notably, it is able to wield Aura Sphere, along with Lucario, Mienfoo and its family, the only non-legendary Pokémon that are able to learn it.
Behavior
Togekiss are generally friendly and caring Pokémon. They tend to avoid conflict, supposedly never appearing where strife is occurring. They are also said to share blessings with those who love another. However, Togekiss are also powerful fighters capable of using a wide variety of attacks. They will protect their young, Togepi, with miraculous care. These Pokémon soar gracefully through the air, often performing tricks and aerial maneuvers.
Habitat
Togekiss were once known to have been seen in wilderness near human establishments, but are vastly rare due to their empathetic sensitivity and dislike of strife and overtly negative emotions, and the increase of such things in society. In turn, Togekiss will also be seen greater in more peaceful and harmonious regions of the world.

Trivia
- Togekiss and its pre-evolution, Togetic, along with Yanma, Yanmega, Giratina and Smeargle (by Sketch), are the only Pokémon that can learn all three variations of AncientPower.
- Togekiss learns the most moves that never miss regardless of the user's accuracy or the foe's evasiveness: Aura Sphere, Shock Wave, Swift, Aerial Ace, and Magical Leaf.
- Togekiss's weight is equal to that of Lucas, as well as four other Pokémon; Sudowoodo, Skuntank, Fearow, and Yanma. Togekiss is also the same height as Ethan.
- Togekiss has the highest Special Attack of all non-legendary Flying-type Pokémon.
- As of Generation V, no other Pokémon have same dual Egg Group as Togekiss and its pre-evolution. In this case, both in Flying and Fairy are unique.
- Togekiss is the only Pokémon to have evolved by using an evolutionary stone that doesn't share any level-up moves with its pre-evolution.
- Togekiss and its pre-evolution are the only Normal/Flying Pokémon capable of learning an Electric-type move.
- Togekiss is the only Pokémon that have a gender ratio of 7:1 that have had a female shown in the anime but not a male.
- Togekiss is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 545.
- Togekiss's shiny coloration resembles that of Togepi's and Togetic's usual coloration.
Origin
Togekiss's design appears to draw inspiration from fairies and birds. Its association with peace and joy, as well as its white coloration, suggests inspiration from doves, but its soaring flight and some physical aspects are similar to those of large birds of prey. Togekiss may have also been designed to resemble a Flying wing.
Name origin
Togekiss is a combination of 刺 toge (spike) and kiss.
