Soak (Japanese: みずびたし Waterlog) is a non-damaging Water-type move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Soak changes the target's type to Water; the effect lasts until the target switches out. Soak does not affect Pokémon with the Ability Multitype. Soak fails if used on a substitute.

- Soak is the only move that changes the type of a Pokémon other than the user.
- Azurill is the only non-Water-type Pokémon able to learn Soak, although the type of its evolutions are Water.
