Reason: Prices (Dough, Dropeye, Reviser, Slip, Via and Violent Seed); Blast Seed damage (normally and on bosses) in Gates to Infinity

Seeds (Japanese: タネ Seeds) are items in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. All seeds restore the Pokémon's belly by five when eaten, except for the Reviver Seed which restores everything. Almost all seeds have additional properties in certain situations. For instance, if the seed is thrown at the enemy (or affects adjacent enemies,) the seed may cause status effects or damage to either the user or an enemy. As seeds are designed to be thrown, they cannot be caught.

Jobs often require a particular seed to be delivered.

In Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky, seeds can be found in dungeons or purchased at Kecleon Shops in Treasure Town or in dungeons.

List of Seeds

"Post-story dungeons" refers to dungeons that can only be unlocked after the credits roll in the game.

A Quick Seed was seen in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!, where Pikachu gave it to Squirtle, so that the Tiny Turtle Pokémon could outspeed the Skarmory that was keeping Pikachu and his little brother Pichu as hostages, and defeat it.
