The Water type is one of nine TCG elemental types.
The Water type contains all Water and Ice Pokémon found in the Game Boy adventures. For example, Blastoise, Articuno and Piloswine are all Water types in the TCG.
Battle properties
Generally Water Pokémon have a weakness to:
- Grass (if the Pokémon was a Water type in the Game Boy games)
- Lightning (if the Pokémon was a Water or Ice type in the Game Boy game)
- Fighting (if the Pokémon was an Ice type in the Game Boy games)
- Metal (if the Pokémon was an Ice type in the Game Boy games)
