Santa Claus is a character in the Pokémon anime who is based on the Santa Claus (St. Nicholas) of holiday fame. He is the Pokémon World's version of Santa Claus. He has the same tasks as the original Santa: giving away gifts to all the good children all over the world with his sleigh.
His sleigh was originally pulled by Ponyta, though this role was given to Stantler after its debut in Generation II.

- Jynx (numerous assisting him with his work at the North Pole) (equivalent to Santa's elves)
- Ponyta (equivalent to Santa's reindeer up until Generation II)
- Stantler (Replaced Ponyta in Generation II)
- Delibird
- Pikachu (given by Professor Oak (I'm Giving Santa A Pikachu For Christmas) (dub only)
