Is there any difference between the success rate of getting the enemy item compared to the Thief_(move)? ----Blablubbb 03:58, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. This happens 100%.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 04:15, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't even need to have its own item! TTEchidna 06:41, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Trick fails if used by Transformed Ditto?

The Trick should be 100% if at least one pokémon have any item. But. I'am catching Dittos in english Pearl using Smeargle knowing Trick. Sometimes the Ditto (after Transforming) use the move Trick, but they always fails, altrought they have items themselves (I checked after catching them) ----Glurak 05:34, 13 Jan 2009 (UTC)

Trick Item Return?

If I get tricked or use in the wild, and I get the wild Pokémon's item, and they get mine, if they/I die/I/they run, do I get my item back? And if I catch them do they have my original and they have mine or returned? Machamp ion 19:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Well I remember flinging my soothe bell at a wild pokemon on accident and did not get it back. I would assume the principle is the same and your item would not come back to you. Dexington 20:55, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Sticky Hold

What if the user has Sticky Hold? and what if the one with Sticky Hold doesn't have its own held item? Bbbbbbbbba 09:56, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

I'd guess that it would fail if the Pokémon with Sticky Hold had an Item, but would succeed if it didn't, since it only prevents it from having an item stolen. I would also imagine that if you were trying to steal a wild Grimer's Nugget with a Keckleon which had used Skill Swap that it would still work, provided Keckleon didn't have an item. Level up wrong for Kadabra

In Generation IV, Kadabra doesn't learn Trick at 43, but at 46. Maybe this is just in HeartGold/SoulSilver though. Amrykid 14:31, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

According to everywhere else I looked it's definitely level 46 for all gen IV, not just HGSS. I've changed the page. Werdnae (talk) 20:35, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Really long Pomeg Egg trick... Trick?

Sorry to not be posting this in the forum, as I know you will tell me to do it, or even delete it right away without replying, but if you do, then thanks! So, what happens if you Trick an Exp. Share to a Trainer that will eventually want to have another battle with you, but next time to send out a Pomeg'd egg that knows Trick (by egg move, o'course), uses the move (first?) and then, whatever, it faints. When you carry around the egg, will it gain experience if you battle with another living and perfectly healthy Pokémon of yours? Better questions follow: Will the Exp. Share be passed to the target and stay held by it? Can (pomeg'd) eggs hold items if they Trick them? I have yet to try to use Covet, Thief or Trick with a pomeg'd egg. I'll try that and comment back here if it worked or not. If it didn't then, my first question wouldn't be worth the try anyways. Thanks, don't be rude (: YukitoOoO 03:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
