Mirage Tower is a location in Hoenn that only appears in Pokémon Emerald. It is located in the desert on Route 111. The tower is 4 floors high, of which the top floor contains the Claw and Root Fossils. Wild Sandshrew and Trapinch can be found in the tower.
Some sections of floor are cracked and unstable and so a Mach Bike, which can ride over the weak points before they crumble away, is required to reach the top. After one of the fossils is taken, the tower collapses and never comes back. However, the other fossil can be found in the Desert Underpass after defeating the Hoenn Elite Four.
