Shalour City (Japanese: シャラシティShara City) is a city located in the western portion of the Kalosregion. It is the hometown of the Gym LeaderKorrina. Reflection Cave is to the south, the Tower of Mastery is to the north, and Route 12 is to the east. This moderately sized city is a seaside location, known for its amazing views.
From the Rising Star in the second building west of the Pokémon Center if the player shows him a Pokémon whose level is 30 higher than the one it was caught/received at

There is an unused item in X and Y named the Shalour Sable that says the city is famous for them. However, they are only obtainable in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
A Worker in eastern Shalour City mentions he knows a Hiker who likes Ferris wheels who has finally found true love. This may be a reference to Hiker Andy in Nimbasa City in Black, White, Black 2, and White 2.

Shalour City's real-life counterpart is the city of Saint-Malo. At low tide, it is possible to cross the sea on foot from Saint-Malo to Grand Bé Island, where ancient ruins still stand.
