Cut

Surf

• Lass Crissy on Route 4 (reached via Route 24)
• Power Plant (and PokéManiac and hidden Max Ether outside) on Route 10
• Lava Cookie south of truck in Vermilion harbor
• TM48 (Skill Swap) on Route 12
• Softboiled move tutor across the pond in Celadon City
• Nugget and hidden Leaf Stone on island in entrance area of the Kanto Safari Zone

Rock Smash

• smashable rocks in Rock Tunnel and Kindle Road that may yield Geodude & Graveler
• Carbos and Ether on Kindle Road

After defeating the Elite Four

• Daisy will massage your Pokémon
• The market stall on Two Island starts selling Lemonade and Moomoo Milk
• Various NPCs appear who will give out Fame Checker entries when spoken to:
  • a girl on 2F of the Celadon Department Store — on Lance
  • "Charine" behind the zoo in Fuchsia City — on Koga
  • a woman outside the Pokémon Trainer Fan Club in Saffron City — on Lance
  • two NPCs in the Indigo Plateau lobby — on Lance and Agatha
  • a "Crusher" in Ember Spa — on Bruno
  • a woman on Two Island — on Bruno

After obtaining the National Pokédex

• One of the Legendary beasts starts roaming Kanto
• A cave appears on Three Isle Port, leading to a patch of grass containing Dunsparce

After completing both parts of the Sevii Islands quest

• Trading with non-FRLG games is possible
• Cerulean Cave
• The Elite Four can be rematched
• The market stall on Two Island starts selling Timer Balls, Repeat Balls, & Lava Cookiess and stops selling Great Balls
