Welcome to Bulbapedia, Raltseye!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Incomplete reasons

"Missing information" isn't a good descriptor to use for incomplete notices; that first one should've been clarified awhile ago so people don't have to ask, as you did. Put the stuff that needs to be added instead. glikglak 18:04, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, should it be then needs 'items and languages boxes' if they dont have any or what did you mean by languages sections? --Raltseye (talk) 18:10, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
The links between Pokémonis sites are interwiki links. In other language sections are what we have at the bottom of most articles (sometimes it's called Names). glikglak 18:53, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Yes exactly Thank you I will get right on to it. --Raltseye (talk) 19:32, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

PMD TMs

I remember there being a guide on GameFAQs that listed the items that could spawn within the dungeons and what items the shops could sell. Not sure if there's one for Explorers, though. Eridanus (talk) 14:59, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Do you mean this http://www.gamefaqs.com/ds/938930-pokemon-mystery-dungeon-explorers-of-darkness/faqs/57222 then I am not sure I if can count on this as reliable source though, but I will take it to consideration and see for my self if it's correct. But it's right about Beach Cave and Drenched Bluff so far so thank you alot for the tip. --Raltseye (talk) 16:03, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Glitch

To answer your questions:

  1. I have no idea, I did not have the intention of recruiting it, I was just simply searching the mountain passes for Sky Gifts, although I could not have recruited it if I tried (around level 70, and no Golden Mask/Ember Tear)
  2. Kecleons were indeed spawned, but did not appear on the next floor.
  3. This was triggered by a trap directly next to the shop in my case, although I am sure it could be activated manually with Selfdestruct/Explosion.

It was pure accident, by the way, I saw a Kecleon shop, decided to check it out, nothing interesting there, and when I stepped off it, I happened to set of a selfdestruct trap. The Kecleon was damaged due to it, but no items were in the blast radius. Then I noticed my partner attacked the Kecleon, so I decided to attack it too until it fainted. Nothing really happened, so I then tried to take something (a Gummi) and leave the shop, since there was no Kecleon. I was then labeled a thief despite the shopkeeper being knocked out, and then the normal effects of thievery occurred: music change and super fast Kecleons spawned. I used my Mobile Scarf to head to the stairs (I knocked out a Kecleon in the process, nothing special happened) and on the next floor, everything was normal. (if I remember correctly, the Kecleon will still attack you when you move to the next floor, although that might only be in Red/Blue)

I did not find anything else unique about it though; but it would be easy to replicate with Selfdestruct or Explosion for more experimentation.

Edit: Kecleon appeared on the recruitment list afterwards, meaning they (should) be able to be recruited. Also, apparently they will not appear on the next floor even if you steal "normally"
Not sure if this is really a glitch, or a strange oversight, though. BetaT (talk) 21:15, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for taking your time answering my questions and thank you for answering so precise, apriciate it. By the way if you move on to the next floor in Explorers of Darkness and Time all the Kecleons should be gone, I honestly didn't even know that they followed you to the next floor in Red/Blue Rescue team. Intresting thing that they appear on the recruit list i know that they could be recruited but I did not think that they would appear on the recruit list --Raltseye (talk) 16:12, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Answer: Interwiki links

What do you mean? I only added a name, that's all! Beacause I can speak Dutch. - unsigned comment from Lokki (talkcontribs)

What I meant was that fr:Bulbizarre, de:Bisasamand pl:Bulbasaur link to Poképédia, Pokéwiki and Wikinezka respectivly and nl:Bulbasaur could theoreticly link to a similar site if they were a member of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis I thought you knew of a site that you thought could been linked to thats all. And for adding Dutch to the in other languages section I consider it not notisable since allmost all languages in europe with the latin alphabet uses that name such as Swedish, Norweigian, Danish, Portuguese, Dutch, Finish, Albanish, and so on and so on therefor only add when it is different from english in some way like Bisasam. Thats why I removed it. --Raltseye (talk) 15:16, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Templates

Hello, please don't edit templates without admin permission, especially a template that being used on multiple articles. I'll let your edit slide, but if you want to make further edits to the Fansite template (or any other template) just let me or any other admin know. Thank you.--ForceFire 13:43, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

Please don't just move a template just because you got no response. No response does not mean you can move it. I know you asked me, I've asked the other admins for their opinions but they've been really busy the past few weeks, so I had nothing to respond with. So in future, just be patient.--ForceFire 03:15, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hello. I have noticed that you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently, and have made a total of 4+ userspace edits today. Please do not edit the userspace any more, as the userspace policy limits the amount you can edit your userpage: No more than three edits per day (by UTC), and you must contribute to the mainspace more than you edit your user page(s). This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our servers. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal page(s). The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your user page(s). Thank you. --ForceFire 03:51, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Passwords

I stumbled upon a passwords post at GameFAQs. I have tested all North American passwords, and all work, so this leads me to believe the others will work. I've rearranged them into the stage order (S04-07 was before S03-06 for some reason), but I need to verify which stage of Area 05 the latter two each unlocks as I had not cleared S05-06 and paid attention. Can you go and tackle S05-06 and then use one of those two passwords? After using it, check whether S05-07 or S05-08 was unlocked; whichever is not is unlocked by the other password. Passwords are listed on the main article and anything outside my region is marked as "untested" for now. Cheers! CycloneGU (talk) 15:42, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Well I can now confirm that the first code unlocks 05-07 in PAL which rather seems more like europe since Australia is not included and if they are all correct downwards I will just change this and it'll be correct I guess. --Raltseye 18:07, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Awesome. I left "S05-0" in both columns on the article, so I'll update that finding. I thought 05-07 would be first, but wanted a confirmation rather than guessing. I finished that puzzle just now; I earlier did Ash-Greninja while out, but made a mistake somewhere and had to erase a chunk in the middle, then pause and close the system to finish later due to energy. Longest solve yet at 15 minutes and change. LOL Thanks! =) CycloneGU (talk) 03:44, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Stage Data

I have news for you. I just got someone to do a data rip and it turns out there are missions for ALT World stages. So what we're doing for 1-30 right now we have to do again for 1-30 in the Alt World.

I am not sure what the total Picrite rewards are, but seeing that data tells me that we have more than enough to earn back in the Alt World. I'm going to clear through Area 10 and then I might think about moving into there after reviewing the missions for Alt World to see if I can do all of them. The missions include things like "avoid setting any legendary or mythical Pokémon" and "avoid setting any Pokémon", though some have things like "avoid using any reveal skills". Since there is likely a time goal, and likely the fourth for doing all missions, it suggests there are 6 Picrites possible per stage again, meaning for an average of 7 Pokémon per area, over 10 areas (I know, one has three, one has five...work with me here), you're still looking at a possible 6*7*10=420 Picrites just for those 70 possible stages. 300 for Alt World now seems like a worthwhile investment.

Going to post this finding at GameFAQs right now, in fact. I've asked for editing power over the sheet so that I can decode everything, after which I can copy every single task in. Continue as you are for now, and I'll start from the back, eventually working over to Alt World. After you reach where I add to, all you have to do when I'm done is verify that I didn't code anything incorrectly when entering the goals and I'll do the same in both worlds as well.

Also sharing this news with Lanthanum. CycloneGU (talk) 03:25, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

I am all ready there and it costs 300 Picrites to unlock and it is the same levels as standard mode with Mega Picross (you know these with mega rows or what they are called), harder missions as noted and no Picrite or Mural Tile revards and they do also follow your progress in standard mode atleast for starters. I just tried to clear one level to far so to speak there and I proceeded strangely enough to the next level which I had not cleared in standard mode. --Raltseye 10:44, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
This is good information, actually. It's possible to play the game in Alt World, then go back to the normal mode and play the stages in whatever order you choose? It gives the idea to start playing in Alt World at Area 05 and then continuing through to Areas 21 and 22, then go back and do the missions with the Pokémon needed from those worlds in Normal Mode. If that works. CycloneGU (talk) 15:11, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

PMD: GTI in Korean

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity wasn't released in Korean (neither was PSMD), so there shouldn't be any Korean names for dungeons on their pages. --Abcboy (talk) 22:54, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing that out. I assumed that it had been released in Korea because some other PMDGTI pages had Korean names fake I guess, they have been removed now. --Raltseye 23:32, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Interwiki

I know you want them "only" when the pages on the relatives wiki are already created, but be sure I put them always before I create them on PCW. If you are able to wait some minutes, you'll note that those interwikis will have a destination. It's a way for me to remember them and to put pages under special observing. Bye.--Franky7 (talk) 18:00, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

Yes, but it took you 16 min to do that and I waited 7 minutes so I thought you had forgot. Besides I think it would be safer to add them when the page has been created incase you would forget. --Raltseye 19:20, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, 16 o 25 minutes are not infinity =) but I want to make you sure that I'll add them only while I'm creating, I'll never add interwikies linked to nowhere ^^--Franky7 (talk) 13:05, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
Other people might not know that though :/ I understand your thinking, so I won't do that anymore, unless it goes by a day or a half ;) --Raltseye 15:58, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
Thanks, I won't disappoint you XD!--Franky7 (talk) 13:15, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Redirects

The search bar doesn't take in to account capitalization unless it has to (like Breakthrough and BREAKthrough), so making redirects for alternate capitalizations is unnecessary. glikglak 11:31, 5 April 2016 (UTC)

Swedish themes

Could you add the Swedish lyrics and titles of Be a Hero and Stand Tall? Also, could you add the Swedish name origin to Squishy? Thanks! --Abcboy (talk) 16:05, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Squishy's Swedish name origin has been added, and boy might I say that is a might cute name, Kletis. About Stand Tall and Be a Hero, I'll add Stand Tall when get the time in the coming days here since I'm also currently adding the Diamond and Pearl series lyrics from pokemon.com/se I'll add those first then Stand Tall and then Be a Hero. Besides how and where do we know the names of the songs? --Raltseye 17:31, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
I'm not 100% sure, but most of the time it comes from the credits or the lyric corresponding to the title in the English song. --Abcboy (talk) 17:55, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
Also, if you could add the Norwegian title of Stand Tall, that'd be great. --Abcboy (talk) 18:28, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Wikisimpsons and Pokémon references

Hey, just want to thank you for getting it sorted to use Wikisimpsons links on the page. I appreciate it and felt like it wouldn't have been right to ask myself. Also, we have a page on Wikisimpsons with a huge list of Pokemon references and I notice not all of them are on the article here. Would you be willing to add the missing ones in? Thanks, ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 23:07, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for the appreciation, and thank you for telling me about the list, I'll add that shortly. I don't know what order we had with the episodes before but I'm changing it to season. Of course I'm always glad to help :) By the way the staff won't bite so you shouldn't be afraid to ask ;) --Raltseye 07:50, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

Russian transliterations

Is there a particular system of romanization you are using when romanizing Russian? I've been drafting a policy for consistently romanizing information in other languages, and your help with Russian would be appreciated. --Abcboy (talk) 21:50, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

I have generally been trying to do kinda like Wikipedia and always writing Покемон as Pokémon even when it's inflected like Покемоном to Pokémonom, and ь to ' unlike wikipedia, ъ is omnitted and I etc. --Raltseye prata med mej 21:56, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

Aegislash

Alright, I have currently moved your edit to the NPC Appearance section for now, since that would be the place for it, if appropriate. Just to make sure, do you believe that the Aegislash is notable enough to go there? I ask since I do not own the game and am unsure of their connection to the events of the game. If you do not believe so, then the edit might need to be removed. --Super goku (talk) 19:44, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

Actually he only says that he is called Gilbrand, and his name is still displayed as Aegislash. And no he has nothing to do with the story. His exact line is;

They call me Gilbrand.
It means shield and sword.

--Raltseye prata med mej 20:02, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
So then, let us start with the beginning. According to Bulbapedia:Project_Pokédex/Structure, the NPC appearances section is for "Details of Pokémon in all games (sans Smash Bros. series) which are seen but cannot be caught. Only add as necessary." Now, User:Zesty Cactus has admitted that it is a bit outdated in the last edit, but I do think that there needs to be something that makes it needed to be listed in that section. The second point is about the word "Gilbrand." More specifically, the lack of a word. Are you sure that the spelling is "Gilbrand" and not something different as it does not seem to even exist as a reference or anything. --Super goku (talk) 20:29, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
Yepp, as sure as one can be. I have the game in my hands as we speak and it does indeed say Gilbrand, and I do agree with you that it does not make any sense since I have also tried to google it with no avail. He is not necessary for the story either, that's why I put it in the trivia section in the first place. --Raltseye prata med mej 20:35, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
Alright, I think I do have it in the end. Aegislash is called "Gillguard" in Japanese. As already noted on the article, gild can mean "to cover with a layer of gold." Meanwhile, the word brand can have the meaning of "sword." Of course, that is against what Aegislash says, so there might be more to this in the end. Outside of that, I am not fully sure if it should stay. I do see that Abcboy did not remove it, but they might not have the game either. It all depends on if it can be considered "necessary" to note, if that still applies to articles. So, if someone else does end up removing it, then there might not be anything left to say. --Super goku (talk) 21:41, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

Rockin' Lock

Hi! Just a thing regardingRockin' Lock which I've brought here because I thought it would be faster/not that important. I did once say it might be better to remove the "Klefki's" part of the name, but then if you look at the descriptions used in the treasure boxes (e.g. Hard Box, there aren't many there yet), they use "Klefki's Rockin' Lock"). Now I think "Klefki's Rockin' Lock" is the full name and "Rockin' Lock" is its shortened name. What are your thoughts? Regardless, I don't think it would be necessary anymore to state that the official website is wrong since it's used in-game. --Wowy(토크) 04:56, 12 July 2016 (UTC)

Yes, or it might be used to emphasize the point that Klefki is running that shop rather than calling the shop by that name, I mean he does say "Welcome to Rockin' Lock!" and if you press the info option "I can crack any lock here at Rockin' Lock!" so that's my guess. Therefore it's not part of the name rather there to tell who's running that shop. But I do agree with you that we can remove the trivia. --Raltseye prata med mej 05:11, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
