Mewtwo (Japanese: ミュウツー Mewtwo) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as one of the Wizards Black Star Promos.

Release information
In Japan, this card was available as an insert with the Pocket Monsters Fan Book, released in April 1997 with artwork by Ken Sugimori. The English version of this card was one of four possible Wizards Black Star Promos that one could receive by buying a ticket to the theatrical release of Mewtwo Strikes Back. It has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie". An unknown amount of this print has the gold foil stamp on the opposite corner. The French version of this print mistakenly translated Mewtwo's name to "Deuxmiaou". The reprint used the correct "Mewtwo".
This card was later reprinted as another Wizards Promotional card, with different artwork by Benimaru Itoh, included in the VHS and DVD releases of Mewtwo Strikes Back. In Japan, this version came with the June 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released in May 1997.
