Comatose (Japanese: ぜったいねむり Sure Sleeper) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Komala.
Effect
In battle
Comatose makes the user act as if it was asleep, without inflicting the status. The user will receive double damage from Hex and Wake-Up Slap, can use Sleep Talk or Snore but not Rest, can be affected by Dream Eater, and is immune to status conditions.
Outside of battle
It is unknown if Comatose has any effect outside of battle.
