Fur Coat (Japanese: ファーコート Fur Coat) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. Prior to Generation VII, it was the signature Ability of Furfrou.

Effect

In battle

Fur Coat halves damage from physical moves, Psyshock, Psystrike, and Secret Sword. It does not affect moves that deal direct damage.

Outside of battle

Fur Coat has no effect outside of battle.
