Trivia
- Due to a mistake in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Official Nintendo Player's Guide, there was a rumor that the Shoal Salt functions like the Leftovers in Generation IV. However, this was an error; the Shell Bell (which is created from Shoal Salt and Shoal Shells) is the item that functions similarly to Leftovers.
