A Cooltrainer (Japanese: エリートトレーナー Elite Trainer) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are depicted as slim, young people in orange jumpsuits. They can be male or female.
They generally use strong and evolved Pokémon.
A pair of Cooltrainers paired together for a Double Battle is a Cool Couple.
