Howling Forest (Japanese: 遠吠えの森 Howling Forest) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. It consists of 15 floors.
After receiving access to the Friend Area Sky Blue Plains from an optional mission and renovating the Team Base, the notice board may include a mission to rescue Smeargle. Accepting this mission will unlock Howling Forest. After completing the dungeon for the first time, Smeargle will join the Rescue Team. There is a chance of sunny weather on 3F, 6F and 9F and a 100% chance of hail on 13F.
It is also the only extra dungeon available before the credits roll.
