Four leagues were present in the Battle Carnival 2013 Spring World Challenge Tournament events, with these cards awarded to the top three competitors from each one. Trivia
- This card's effect matches that of the most recent print of Poké Ball.
- Other than the top ranking cards awarded at the TCG World Championships (which are only printed in English), Victory Cup was the first 'trophy card' to be released in English before Japanese.
- The illustrations for Victory Cup take inspiration from the top ranking cards awarded over the course of the 2000, 2001, and 2002 competitive seasons in Japan, in that more Pokémon are present in the illustration as the rank increases.
