List of Goh's Pokémon

The following is a list of Pokémon currently owned by Goh. As his goal is to catch every Pokémon that he meets on his way to catch Mew, Goh owns a multitude of Pokémon species, many of which he keeps at the Cerise Laboratory.

Caterpie and Metapod

Caterpie and Metapod were encountered at Vermilion Forest. Goh caught Caterpie after finding it eating a leaf, while Metapod was caught shortly after Goh and Ash knocked it out of a tree. They are currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Venomoth and Venonat

Debut	Working My Way Back to Mew!

Venomoth and Venonat were encountered at Vermilion Forest. Goh caught Venomoth after spotting it flying through the air. Venonat was found sleeping in a tree, but Goh's attempt to catch it failed when Venonat broke out of his Poké Ball. With Scorbunny's help, Goh battled Venonat and managed to catch it. They are currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Venomoth's only known move is Stun Spore.
Venonat's only known move is Poison Powder.

Paras and Parasect

Butterfree

Butterfree was encountered at Vermilion Forest. He was found resting on a large tree, which Goh climbed with Ash's help. When Goh accidentally dropped his Poké Ball, Butterfree attempted to flee, but he was caught when Scorbunny kicked the Poké Ball at him.

In A Snow Day for Searching!, Butterfree was among the Pokémon that Goh used to help find a Cubone's bone. Once they found the Mankey that stole it, Butterfree helped attack it. He is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Butterfree's only known move is Stun Spore.

Pinsir

Debut	Working My Way Back to Mew!

Main article: Goh's Pinsir

Pinsir was encountered at Vermilion Forest. It attacked Ash and Pikachu, trapping them in a ring of large stones. It then went after Goh, who threw random objects in an attempt to defend himself, eventually accidentally throwing a Poké Ball and catching it. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Weedle and Kakuna

Debut	Working My Way Back to Mew!

Weedle and Kakuna were encountered at Vermilion Forest. Weedle was found sitting on a tree while Kakuna was found dangling from a tree along with other members of its species. They are currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Beedrill

Beedrill was encountered at Vermilion Forest. It was part of a swarm of Beedrill that attacked Goh when he caught Kakuna. When the others were trapped by Pikachu's Electroweb, Goh caught the lone Beedrill that wasn't hit, assuming it was the strongest one.

Scyther

Scyther was encountered at Vermilion Forest. It easily repelled Goh's Poké Ball and sent him and Scorbunny flying. Goh later encountered Scyther again, this time using Scorbunny to battle it first. Together, Goh and Scorbunny weakened Scyther enough for Goh to successfully capture it.

Tentacool

Debut	The Sinnoh Iceberg Race!

Tentacool was caught at Vermilion Harbor. When a group of Tentacool appeared at the harbor, Goh attempted to catch one of them, but it dodged the Poké Ball, causing this one to get caught instead. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Tentacool's only known move is Ice Beam.

Dewgong

Debut	A Test in Paradise!

Dewgong was caught by Goh to carry him and Ash across the sea while trying to find the Dragonite Island. However, along the way, it saw another Dewgong and fell in love with it, inadvertently chasing it into a storm, where Ash and Goh fell off of its back. It later reunited with them at the island, having failed to find the other Dewgong.

In A Snow Day for Searching!, Dewgong was used by Goh to explore a pond in order to find a bone belonging to Cubone. After a while, it was able to retrieve the bone and return it to Cubone. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Dewgong's only known move is Ice Beam.

Cubone

Cubone was encountered at a park in Vermilion City. After witnessing Cubone have its bone stolen by a trio of Mankey, Goh agreed to help retrieve its lost item. With the help of his Pokémon and Ash, Goh was able to reunite Cubone with its bone. Afterwards, Cubone decided to join Goh's team and allowed itself to be caught by him.

In Panic in the Park!, it and Skwovet called Golurk to stop the other Pokémon from fighting during a food shortage. When Golurk's seal fell off and it went berserk, Cubone helped put the seal back on. It then helped protect the Cascoon from the flood caused by Golurk's rampage, allowing them to evolve into Dustox. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Spearow

Debut	Destination: Coronation!

Goh first spotted Spearow while traveling to the Vermilion Gym with Ash. He and Raboot chased after it, and once they reunited with Ash at the Gym, Goh revealed that he succeeded in catching Spearow. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Rattata

Goh caught Rattata while he and Ash were on their way to a movie studio in Vermilion City. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Goh caught Oddish while he was participating in a Pokémon Orienteering competition. In A Little Rocket R & R!, Goh took Oddish with him to the Resort Area where it helped him catch a giant Magikarp by putting it to sleep. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Oddish's only known move is Sleep Powder.

Poliwag

Goh caught Poliwag while he was participating in a Pokémon Orienteering competition. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Goh caught Farfetch'd while he was participating in a Pokémon Orienteering competition. During the first two attempts to catch it, Farfetch'd deflected the thrown Poké Balls with its leek. Then, Goh faked it out during the third attempt and caught it while its guard was down. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Exeggcute → Exeggutor

Debut	Caring for a Mystery!

Goh encountered Exeggcute while he and Ash were searching for a Pokémon Egg. Goh initially thought Exeggcute was one, but when he realized their mistake, he caught it anyway. In JN037, it evolved into an Exeggutor through a Leaf Stone that Yamper found. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Heracross ♂

Debut	JN033

Heracross originally belonged to a Bug Pokémon collector named Koromi, who later traded him to Goh for his second Pinsir. He is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Heracross's known moves are Arm Thrust, Fury Attack, Megahorn, and Aerial Ace.

Hitmonchan ♂

Debut	JN034

Hitmonchan is a Pokémon that Goh received as a prize after defeating the Karate Master in Saffron City's Fighting Dojo. He is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Pikachu → Raichu ♀

Debut	JN035

Raichu was met at a valley populated by Pikachu. As a Pikachu, she quickly took a liking to Goh's group and was caught by him soon after. When Ash's Pikachu refused to use a Thunder Stone Goh's Pikachu gave him as a gift, she gave it to Goh instead. Later, she used the Thunder Stone to evolve and free her Pikachu friends from one of Team Rocket's mechas. She is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Old Amber → Aerodactyl

Debut	JN038

Aerodactyl was revived from an Old Amber that Goh found in the Pewter Museum of Science. Team Rocket's intervention caused Aerodactyl to be restored early, leading to it going berserk. After battling and defeating it, Goh befriended Aerodactyl, who allowed him to catch it.

Aerodactyl's only known move is Iron Head.

Met in Johto

Sentret

Debut	Finding a Legend!

Sentret was encountered during Goh's visit to Ecruteak City. As Goh and Ash searched for Ho-Oh, Sentret leapt out of a bush and was caught by Goh immediately afterwards. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Stantler

Debut	Finding a Legend!

Stantler was encountered during Goh's visit to Ecruteak City. It and a Misdreavus attacked Goh, Ash, Chad, and Jaye at the Bell Tower, trapping them in a series of illusions. After Jaye's Hoothoot dispelled the illusions with Foresight, Goh proceeded to catch Stantler. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Misdreavus

Taillow was caught during Goh's visit to the Hoenn Battle Frontier. As its species preyed on Wurmple, Goh used Taillow to find wild Wurmple for him to catch.

In A Snow Day for Searching!, Taillow was among the Pokémon that Goh used to help find a Cubone's bone. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Goh caught three Wurmple at the Hoenn Battle Frontier with Taillow's help. He caught multiples in hopes that he would get both a Silcoon and a Cascoon out of them. In Best Friend...Worst Nightmare!, all three evolved while defending themselves from Taillow. However, to Goh's dismay, they each evolved into a Cascoon.

In Panic in the Park!, the Cascoon were shown to be in the process of evolving again. Later, they were caught in a flood created when Golurk briefly lost control of itself. Ash, Goh, and the other Pokémon living in Cerise Park all kept the Cascoon safe long enough for them to evolve into Dustox and clear the rain. They are currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

They all know the move Sunny Day; two of the Dustox know String Shot.

Wingull

Wingull was caught by Goh shortly after he arrived in Slateport City. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Flygon was encountered by Goh while he explored the sandstorm that engulfed Mauville City, which turned out to be caused by Flygon. It battled Ash and Goh, defeating Riolu and Sobble before being defeated by Raboot, allowing Goh to catch it. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

In JN040, Goh sent out Flygon to assist in a Raid Battle against Zapdos where it teamed up with Raboot, causing serious damage. Despite this, Zapdos was able to avoid being captured.

Flygon's known moves are Sandstorm, Dragon Rush, Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw, and Dragon Breath.

Mantyke

Mantyke was caught during Goh's visit to Snowpoint City. He later entered Mantyke in the Pokémon Iceberg Race, where it helped Pikachu by having him ride on its back. Mantyke's only known move is Agility.

Goldeen

Goh caught Goldeen while fishing at the Resort Area in Sinnoh. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

In JN031, Goldeen was used to help Nami's Hi-chan improve its agility while swimming.

This regular-sized Magikarp was encountered while fishing at the Resort Area. It was reeled in by Ash, who allowed Goh to catch it. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

This giant Magikarp was encountered while fishing at the Resort Area. Goh reeled it in with help from Ash, Pikachu, Raboot, and a disguised Team Rocket. He caught it after it was put to sleep by Oddish's Sleep Powder. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Darmanitan

Darmanitan was encountered during Goh's visit to the Desert Resort. It was one of the Pokémon guarding the Colossus Ruins, but was swiftly caught by Goh just as it sprung to life and attacked. It was later used in a Raid Battle against a giant Golurk. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.

Sandile

Sandile was encountered at the Colossus Ruins. It was angered when Scorbunny accidentally stepped on its tail, but was quickly defeated by a Double Kick, allowing Goh to catch it.

When a group led by Scyther came looking for a fight, Sandile and Misdreavus immediately joined their side. Skwovet

Skwovet was caught during Goh's second trip to Wyndon. It was lured in by some scones Ash was eating and took one for itself. While Skwovet was busy eating, Goh took the opportunity to catch it.

In Panic in the Park!, it and Cubone called Golurk to stop the other Pokémon from fighting during a food shortage. When Golurk's seal fell off and it went berserk, Skwovet helped put the seal back on. It then helped protect the Cascoon from the flood caused by Golurk's rampage, allowing them to evolve into Dustox. The next day, Skwovet was revealed to be the culprit behind the shortage, as it had been taking the food and storing in a cave in secret. It is currently kept at the Cerise Laboratory.
