Northwind Field (Japanese: 北風の大地 North Wind Land) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. It is home to Suicune and contains 30 floors. It is home to Suicune.
Northwind Field is the third dungeon in the quest for the Mirage Pokémon. After completing this dungeon, Suicune will turn the Sunset Feather into the Rainbow Feather and the player can finally go to meet the Mirage Pokémon on Mt. Faraway.
Gameplay
Generation III
In the original games, HM Surf is required to enter and the game will be saved automatically before entering.
Water Stones can be found on the ground on 29F. A locked chamber on 20F contains the Lunar Ribbon, required to evolve Eevee into Umbreon. If the player already has one, it will be replaced by a Link Cable. There is a chance of buried items appearing in this dungeon.
The default weather is Rainy on floors 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25. Additionally, all floors except the final one are shrouded in darkness, limiting field of view to 2 tiles in hallways.
Generation VIII
As Water Stones no longer exist in the game, Kecleon Shops in the dungeon may instead sell Evolution Crystals.
Sandstorms may occur on random floors.
