A Pokémon Breeder (Japanese: ポケモンブリーダー, Pokémon Breeder) is primarily a Pokémon trainer who practices the occupation of mating carefully selected Pokémon to reproduce specific improvements in future generations of Pokémon, such as moves, IVs, or natures.
In the games, Pokémon Breeders appeared as an trainer class in Generation III, and be found near Pokémon Daycares. They raise a variety of different Pokémon.
In the Pokémon anime, Pokémon Breeders typically concern themselves with raising Pokémon for health and happiness, rather than for Pokémon battles.

In the TCG, a Pokémon Breeder appears on a card in the Base Set. In the Neo Revelation expansion, Breeders are also featured in a card called Pokémon Breeder Fields.
