Aeroblast (Japanese: エアロブラスト Aeroblast) is a damage-dealing Flying-type move introduced in Generation II. It is the signature move of Lugia.

Effect

Aeroblast deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio.

Aeroblast can hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles.

Aeroblast can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if the move Focus Energy was used in the prior turn.

Lugia A yellow-orange ball forms in front of Lugia's mouth. Lugia's body then starts to glow blue and it fires multiple beams of yellow-orange from its mouth which eventually converge into a single destructive beam, surrounded by a vortex of wind, which is fired at the opponent. Alternatively, Lugia will open its mouth and gather blue energy inside it. It then fires a massive beam of energy from its mouth at the opponent.
