Initially accessible in the Special Episode Bidoof's Wish, it can be unlocked as a normal dungeon via Wonder Mail codes or by a challenge request from the Spinda's Café. At the end of the cave is Star Cave Pit (Japanese: ほしのどうくつ さいおうぶ), where Jirachi can be found.
Pokémon encountered
In the main story, Deep Star Cave and Star Cave Depths sections do not exist and the dungeon continues normally.

Trivia
- Interestingly, if Giratina enters this dungeon, it will be in its Origin Forme instead of its Altered Forme. This trait is shared with Sky Peak and Destiny Tower.
- In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Jirachi of the Expedition Society mentions that he was born in Star Cave. This reference was missed in the German, Italian, and Spanish translations, where he instead says that he was born in a cave on a star.
