Flower Shield (Japanese: フラワーガード Flower Guard) is a non-damaging Fairy-type move introduced in Generation VI. In Pokémon Sword and Shield prior to the Isle of Armor DLC, it was the signature move of Cherrim.

Effect

Flower Shield raises the Defense stat of all Grass-type Pokémon on the field by one stage, except those that are in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Fly or Dig. Flower Shield fails if there are no eligible Grass-type Pokémon.

If powered up by a Fairium Z into Z-Flower Shield, the user's Defense stat rises by one stage.
