== Specializing in abilities? ==
The start of the article says that "Saying so himself, Professor Elm studies unusual Pokémon Abilities," and it's mentioned first thing, even before Eggs. But that's not mentioned anywhere in his dialogue in the games- is this something that just comes from the anime? If that's the case, I think it should be a little bit later in the intro, because it makes it seem like that's more of his focus. Mistake

I could have sworn that Prof. Elm was given a first name in the anime... It was something kinda dorky but I searched online and couldn't find it. It might have been in Around the Whirlpool but I'm not sure... --greengiant

I'm thinking "Robert" for some reason, but I'm not entirely sure. ~Kets

Larvitar's Egg

U know how we have Azurill's Egg on Tracey's page as "Formerly owned"? Should we do it with Larvitar's Egg with Professor Elm?--KukiTalk 19:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Go for it! Mooites 03:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Did he ever actually have Larvitar's egg though? If he didn't, I don't think that the egg belongs under "Formerly owned"/"released". Galladeon 19:55, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

How can you capture or release an egg?--Tomas 14:32, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Voice

I seriously think Elm's dub actor is the voice of Tracey. anyone concur? Mooites 03:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Um not really. He sounds a lot like Maddie Blaustein. But I don't think it's her. --ケンジガール 04:22, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Relatives?

I restarted my Pokemon Crystal today, and noticed that, at least in the game, Prof. Elm is married and has a child; they live in New Bark Town. Should that be included in the page? :S Agnessa 00:20, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I guess. --ケンジガール 00:35, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Elm's Manga Section

There isnt one! That needs to be added to the list of things to do. ;) --Blake 01:51, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I just noticed there isnt a Game section either, even though Oak has one. --Blake 21:05, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Berry Strange

Why aren't the Johto Starters in GSC shown to be holding the Berry like they are? I know it's not in the remakes, but it is in the originals... I'd add it myself, if I knew where to put the item in the formatting. --Purimpopoie 17:22, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Starter's held item

In Generation II, the starters given by Prof. Elm held a Berry each. This word was generic for berries but also specific for the one that recovers 10 HP (today replaced by Oran). I tried to add the held item to the Gen II table but couldn't find out how, as the link must be to a topic inside the page Berry (Generation II). Can someone help me? |) u |( e 23:33, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

After checking Bugsy's page, found out that there's no way to specify the Gen II Berry. |) u |( e 01:53, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Master Ball

This page erroneously states that the Master Ball can be obtained from Elm after beating the Elite Four. However, it can be obtained after receiving eight Johto badges (before the Elite Four). Should this be fixed? Tk3141 02:53, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

As no one gave a response (positive or negative) to my previous post, I have fixed the error. Tk3141 18:40, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

First Name glitches? Family in the anime

My brother had a copy of Gold and I had a copy of Silver; both games were reset. However, in Gold (second time around; my first time) the name "Brent" appeared in front of Professor Elm's name. Then in Silver, (second time around), Professor Elm is referred to as "Robert". These names didn't appear the first time around, just the second. Are these glitches or could either of them be Professor Elm's first name? Also, in his debut episode, either Officer Jenny or Nurse Joy (I believe it's the latter) says something about his wife and kids. I either misheard this, or he actually has family in the anime. Can someone clear this up for me? WATERWarrior67 22:53, 11 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Pocket Monsters Manga Pokémon

The wording in this section just seems tacky to me... Striker212 (talk) 23:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
