In Japan, this card was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the September 1999 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on August 15, 1999.

Trivia

• Hama-chan is the nickname of Japanese comedian Masatoshi Hamada. Hamada provided the Japanese voice for Slowking in The Power of One and also provided the illustration for this card.
• This is one of several 'spoof' cards that feature exclusively in Japanese releases.
• This card features the Gold, Silver, to a New World... symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the Japanese expansion.
• The text on the bottom of the card border reads: "CoroCoro Comic September issue bonus card."
