Aromatisse, the Fragrance Pokémon and the evolved form of Spritzee. Aromatisse can create many scents, some unpleasant enough to opponents to gain the advantage in battle.
Aromatisse is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 462.
Aromatisse can be seen as a parallel to Slurpuff. Both are Generation VIFairy-type Pokémon that are version-exclusives of Pokémon X and Y and in Pokemon Sword and Shield, with Aromatisse to Pokémon Y and Pokémon Shield, and Slurpuff being exclusive to Pokémon X and Pokémon Sword. Both have signature Abilities that affect themselves as well as their allies, and both evolve from their base forms when traded holding a certain item.
Origin
Aromatisse's body appears to be based on a fluffy cosmetics applicator (such as a powder puff) and a perfume bottle, with a plague doctor's mask. It also takes traits from the appearance of flamenco and can-can dancers.
Plague doctors used various perfumes held in birdlike masks to drown out the scent of the plagued and deceased. Plague doctor masks are often worn as costumes at masquerade balls and carnivals.
The fact that it evolves from its birdlike pre-evolved form to its human-like appearance is possibly a reference to Gunnhild, a mythological Norwegian queen that shapeshifts into a bird.
