Release information

In Japan, this card was released as one of the SM-P Promotional cards and was given to customers who purchased at least 5 booster packs from Pokémon Center Tokyo DX in celebration of its opening on March 14, 2018. The promotion ran from the opening day for as long as stocks lasted. The Pokémon Center Tokyo DX logo is also present on the card.

Trivia

Origin

As one of the mascots for showcasing the cultural diversity of Tokyo, this Pikachu is depicted wearing high-class Ivy League-style attire, popular in Japan during the 1960's, particularly in affluent areas such as the Ginza district.

New Open is a reference to the opening of Pokémon Center Tokyo DX. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Moon.
