Gaeric (Japanese: ハマレンゲ Hamarenge) is a warden tasked with watching over a special Avalugg found in the Alabaster Icelands. He is a member of the Pearl Clan.
He bears some resemblance to Wulfric, sporting a similar pompadour and similar hair style as Wulfric's mustache, but the relationship between the two, if any, is unknown.
In the core series
Gaeric is first introduced to the player in the Avalugg's Legacy region of Alabaster Icelands after Lord Avalugg has gone into a Frenzied state. He doesn't see the harm in Avalugg being strengthened by a Frenzy, believing Avalugg will do no harm to others, but he agrees to go along with the player's will if the player can prove their strength in battle.
Pokémon
Like most members of the Pearl Clan, Gaeric does not keep his Pokémon partner in a Poké Ball.
