This card was included in the Pokémon GO expansion with artwork by saino misaki, first released in the Japanese subset of the same name. It was reprinted as a SWSH Black Star Promo with different artwork by Saya Tsuruta and was available in the Pokémon GO Pin Collection—Charmander from August 5, 2022. In Japan, this print was released as a S-P Promotional card and was distributed as part of the Pokémon GO Promo Card Gift Campaign, which began on June 17, 2022. For every four Pokémon GO booster packs purchased in one transaction at participating stores, customers would receive a special Promo Card Pack containing one of seven possible cards. The campaign ran for as long as stocks lasted.
