I see you've added the image showing Ash's Incineroar using Darkest Lariat onto the move page, seeing as the anime has 3 images from Journeys with two of them being Incineroar, I don't feel the image is needed on there.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 12:08, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Rahl!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

 • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
 • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
 • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
 • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
 • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
 • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
 • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
 • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
 • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Crustle and Dig

Just because Cilan's Crustle burrowed into the ground does not always mean that it used Dig. For an analogy: a ton of Flying types were seen flying in various media, but that's because they can fly naturally, not because they know the move Fly. Instead of adding it back and sparking an edit war, try bringing it up on the article's Talk Page instead. Thank you. Berrenta (talk) 17:39, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Tracey's Marill

Please don't add back the Fairy typing on Tracey's Marill. Because it hasn't appeared since the Fairy type has been revealed, it does not need to be changed. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 22:38, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring

Hello, I've noticed that you've been constantly re-adding content that has been removed several times by staff and other editors in general. This is considered edit warring, which is a blockable offense on Bulbapedia. Because of the amount of times you've already been edit warring today, continuing to edit war without discussion will lead to a temporary block from editing. Please keep this in mind during the future. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 22:49, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Jessie's Woobat

Please do not remove the notice about the Woobat trivia. It is there to warn users not to add it because it is unnotable. Also, please do not revert a user (especially an admin), if you disagree with the reversion bring it up to the talk page of the article. Thank you for reading.--ForceFire 02:50, 13 November 2013 (UTC)

Fairy-type Pokemon on move pages

Please be more careful when you're adding the Fairy type to Pokemon on move pages. If the subsection (usually tutored or event moves) does not cover Generation VI, the Pokemon should not be listed as Fairy-type, since they weren't at any point that the subsection covers. It's the same reason that, above, Funktastic asked you not to change Tracey's Marill to Fairy-type. Thanks for your understanding. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:38, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --Den Zen 18:02, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Instead, how about helping contribute to some of Bulbapedia's many articles? Thank you. --Den Zen 18:21, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

I did see it. I stopped as soon as I did.Chy-i (talk) 01:15, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Your userpage

I noticed you copied it from my userpage, so when did you copy it, and if you don't know, I'll contact an active admin. --Cinday123 (Talk) 03:51, 8 February 2014 (UTC) I did it a few weeks ago. I'm sorry if its a problem I will change it if immediately.Chy-i (talk) 14:16, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 21:42, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

EP017

Like the trivia said, they were implied to be male because of the pronouns they used that are commonly used by males. This does not mean that it is a straight up confirmation of their gender. I don't know if the staff of the past had any discussions about this, but seeing as how they've never added the gender and stuck it in the trivia, I'm guessing that they didn't count the implications as their genders being confirmed.--ForceFire 12:13, 11 May 2014 (UTC)

Far-reaching changes

If you want to make a structural edit that will affect a wide range of pages, as you did to many Trainers' Pokemon in the anime recently, it's usually best to suggest it on a talk page first rather than just do it, so you can get feedback on whether it's a good idea. That way, you don't waste your time making a bunch of edits that get undone, and somebody else doesn't waste their time undoing all those edits. Thanks! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:13, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Userspace pages

Make sure when you're making templates or any type of userspace pages, you start the page with User:Rahl/ , or otherwise you'll make the page in the mainspace where it doesn't belong. I've moved your page for you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 20:02, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

Thank you. I didn't know how to fix it.Chy-i (talk) 20:52, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

Abuse

Due to your numerous edits to your Gym Leader user page today, your userspace privileges have been revoked. You edited the page 16 times even though you're allowed to make only three userspace edits per day (provided that you've made four mainspace edits). And while the EB may give special permissions if the page in question is intended for mainspace, your page looks more like personal stuff just for fun.

You can request an admin to give you your rights back if you think you've redeemed yourself by being helpful on the mainspace.--Den Zen 17:56, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Your Gym Leader userpage

I had to go through and remove some redlinks on that page, as they have appeared in the Wanted pages. There were also some redirects, but it's mostly redlinks. Be sure to check to see if you intend to create links to pages that do not exist. If the page in question will exist later on, that's fine, but if not, either remove them or replace the link with one to a relevant page that does exist. Also, try not to get the templates color and color2 confused: the latter creates a link in that color, while the former just colors the text. Just letting you know. Berrenta (talk) 01:35, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Alright, thank you very much.Chy-i (talk) 01:36, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Fletchinder

Anime ≠ Games. In the anime, Pokémon have been able to use more that 4 moves at once in one episode, like Ash's Kingler and Misty's Gyarados and Caserin. Also, In Cilan Takes Flight, Cilan's Pansage still knew Bite even when in earlier episodes, he used Bullet Seed, Solar Beam, Dig and Rock Tomb. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 05:46, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

While that has happened, Fletchinder has only been seen using Flame Charge. Since it learned a new move it more than likely lost one of those four moves. As soon as it is seen using them then it can be added.Rahl (talk) 01:18, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

Genders

We only add in genders for Pokémon who are confirmed to have them, including the ones who are normally genderless. PattyMan 20:04, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

Dub titles

Hello, please stop adding the dub titles for now. They are not 100% confirmed yet (unless you have a source that proves otherwise). Adyniz has said "consider these unconfirmed for now" on the forums. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 16:27, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't know about that sorry. I will stop until its confirmed.Rahl (talk) 16:33, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

It's ok. I've undone all of your dub title edits for now. It's best to wait until a staff member adds the titles or until the official Bulbagarden twitter account posts the titles. Unless of course you have a good source that confirms the titles, you can always let a staff member know. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 16:37, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

Anime appearances

Who told you to go adding a new section to the anime appearances and give some Pokémon their own section? What's the difference in an "other" appearance that isn't "major" or "minor" in nature? -- MAGNEDETH 16:09, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

You mean with Magnemite and Magneton?Rahl (talk) 17:11, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
No, all of them. I just happened to notice those two. -- MAGNEDETH 15:40, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
Some of them just happened to have a lot that said major when they weren't all that important. I figured organizing it a little bit would be helpful.Rahl (talk) 17:26, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
That's fine, but if it isn't major, then it's minor. There's really no reason for a middle ground. Also, when having a discussion, indent your comments using a colon. -- MAGNEDETH 03:52, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
When you're told to stop doing something by a staff member, especially a Vice-Webmaster, you really should not ignore what you're being told. So, once again, if an appearance isn't major, then it's minor. There is no need for an "other" section, so stop adding them to species articles. Thank you. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 00:29, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Serena's Pancham

You probably didn't notice, but someone already has a page for Serena's Pancham in the works. In the future, you can use this function to see if someone already has the page in the works. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 17:11, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

XY044 Gym Battle

Don't forget Pikachu.--JasonL 15:33, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

I usually leave Pikachu alone. I don't care for all the screen time he gets and writing about Pikachu's "glorious" gym battles just aggravates me and causes me to oppinionate what I write. If you would like to add Pikachu's gym battle to his page you can find the video here-https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGaf2eOqzGtlSeupxNROxug/videos. Rahl 17:47, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

Just a heads up

On your user pages "User:Rahl/Gym Leader Pokemon Template", "User:Rahl/Gym Battles", and "User:Rahl/League Battles", please use [-[File:694MS.png|link=Clemont (anime)#Heliolisk]-] (without the dash) instead of {-{MSP|694|Clemont (anime)#Heliolisk}-} to make images that act as links to other pages. The later causes the links to go to pages such as "Ash's Pikachu (Pokémon)". Thanks. Adamws (talk) 22:53, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Edit Warring

Please do not edit war. If you disagree with an edit, discuss it with the user that reverted you. Do not revert them. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:15, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Clemont's Magneton

If you feel it deserves an article, create it in your userspace, not the mainspace. Just because it meets notability requirements (which I'm going to have to check to see if it is), does not mean you can just create it in the mainspace. Once it's been approved of by the admins, then it will be moved.--ForceFire 13:54, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

Cilan's Stunfisk

I'm only going to say this once, the moves are only marked as recent if it used them in its most recent appearance. It only used Thunderbolt and Mud Bomb in its most recent appearance, so they should be the only ones marked as recent.--ForceFire 13:21, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

While that is true, it has not used Camouflage since its debut. That makes the rest of them most recent.Rahl 13:37, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

You didn't even read what I just said. The moves are only marked as recent if it used them in its most recent appearance. It only used Thunderbolt and Mud Bomb in its most recent appearance.--ForceFire 13:47, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

That is true but it is pretty obvious that it still has Scald and Sludge Bomb. Rahl 14:10, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

A Pokémon does not forget a move like it does in the games. The anime=/=games. It may still have Camouflage, just as it may have Sludge Bomb or Scald, even if it hasn't used Camouflage since its debut.--ForceFire 14:25, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

Ash's Pikachu

FYI, someone already started a discussion that you are still asking people to start without having even participated in the discussion. I've requested protection of the page to force discussion. CycloneGU (talk) 19:24, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

I don't have an opinion on whether or not the nature should be in the infobox. However, constantly reverting to your preferred state and insisting that other people start a discussion without even attempting to do so yourself is unacceptable especially when you are the one that is making a change, and especially when you have been warned multiple times about edit warring. The page is now protected now, so I won't block you, but in the future, if someone reverts one of your changes to a page you are just as responsible (if not more so) for starting a discussion. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 19:58, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for that information and I have joined that discussion now. Rahl 20:12, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi!

Hi! I see that you're reordering the Pokémon lists on episode pages. Please take this into consideration. Dawn's Piplup should precede Jessie's Wobbuffet and James's Mime Jr.! Thank you! --Mikuri 13:50, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

I was not aware of that. Thank you for correcting me.Rahl 13:53, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

Section header levels

On Clair's Dragonair and other similar pages, sections such as "Personality and characteristics" and "Moves used" belong under the section it refers to, being "In the anime", unless the personality and characteristics and moves used apply in all other canons on the page. --Abcboy (talk) 00:50, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

Ash's Fletchinder

I was wondering why you deleted my part in the trivia about Ash's Fletchinder being his first Pokemon to purposefully use its ability outside of battle. Did another of his Pokemon do it before him? Srushj11 (talk) 03:56, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

Yes Buizel used it outside of battle at some point in Sinnoh. I believe I mentioned Buizel in the comment when I removed it. Rahl 12:22, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

No, Buizel use in battles the first one was in Third gym battle and second time was in battle against Mr. Mine.--SilverioBOMB (talk) 07:17, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

Question

I don't understand why you removed the information about Pokémon living in the Gym from the Gym pages. I saw your edit summary, but why shouldn't the information be there? I can't see why it should be restricted to Pokémon used in Gym battles. Personally, I think it makes more sense to change the heading to simply "Pokémon" and then make the clarification about ones that were used in Gym battles and the others that have only been seen residing in the Gym. AGGRON989 16:43, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

I was not the one who ended up deciding that. It was being changed when I started adding that to pages a while ago. Rahl 16:51, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

I see, sorry about that. I was looking to see if that was the case, but I couldn't tell. Thanks, though! AGGRON989 17:00, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

Moves improvised

Hi there! Thank you for all your help with the "Moves improvised" section. I was planning on getting screenshots for all of the combinations but I can be very lazy sometimes. It would take a while for me to get the images I needed and the ones you uploaded are just great. Thank you! ;)

On a related note, I removed the name field because there are only a few combinations that ended up getting names in the anime, such as Dragon Formation (Drew's Flygon's Dragon Breath + Drew's Absol's Razor Cut), which Lilian even called "Dragon Razor Wind" because she felt like giving a name for a combination that already had one. :'D But anyway, I don't think we should have a field for things like "Bubble-Swift combination", it's not official, it's just too obvious, and the moves involved are there for this exact purpose. Thanks again, your help is really appreciated! --Mikuri 01:13, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

I'm glad I could be of help and will continue working on it. Thank you for the appreciation.Rahl 01:53, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Abcboy (talk) 12:44, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

I know. It is just I edit one part that I'm focused on and then notice a completely different section also needs fixed.--Rahl 12:45, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Talonflame's moves

Why do we need pictures of Ash's Talonflame using Peck, Razor Wind, and Steel Wing when it was still a Fletchling in its page when the latest it has been seen using those moves were when it was a Fletchinder? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 18:42, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Because it is a page for everything about Ash's Talonflame. By your logic we should get rid of all its information as a Fletchling because it evolved. Every other page still shows moves from their older forms and this one should too.Rahl (talk) 18:47, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Seviper336

Hello, just here to tell you that the message you left on Seviper336's page was probably a bit rude. Whilst their edits may have been non-productive, try not to be too upfront with others, especially new users. Thanks.--ForceFire 03:03, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Blocked

Hello, over the past few days, you have been involved in several edit wars that have been largely disruptive to the editing process. As an experienced user, you should know that edit warring is against Bulbapedia's Code of conduct and is unacceptable. Please use the talk pages to settle disputes and once a consensus is made, make edits then, not while the discussion is actively taking place. If a user continues to revert your edits, please report them to a staff member and let us handle the situation, continuing to engage only propels the conflict. Due to the severity, you have been blocked for a week. Please keep our policies in mind once you return. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 04:24, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

Trainer Class Pokémon

Only Pokémon from trainer classes that don't have articles should be in the anime sections. If there is someone of a trainer class that does have an article, then the Pokémon information to go there.--ForceFire 12:09, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Understood--Rahl (talk) 12:45, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

XY092

Why is Olympia's Meowstic using Psychic without her saying to do so not an error? You said to look up Ash and Ritchie's battle, but the only thing that happened that's noticeable is Ash's Charizard refusing to listen to Ash, costing his trainer the Indigo League. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 13:56, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Actually if you watch and listen to the battle only one command was given; Happy was told to use Sleep Powder. Every other move was done without the Trainer telling them. Pokémon use moves without being told to all the time. It's not like they can't unless the Trainer commands it. Another example would be Misty's Togepi who often used Metronome without its Trainers command.--Rahl (talk) 14:30, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
But in the occasions where Misty's Togepi used Metronome, nobody knew that Togepi knew it. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 01:21, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Then look at the battle that I mentioned before. Every series has times when Pokémon act without a specific command given. It's not an error, it's more like free will.--Rahl (talk) 02:42, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

Hello

It has come to my attention that you share an IP addresses with two users, specifically Pikablu and Reinhartmax. What furthers my suspicions is that all three of you are involved in the Slash edit war with Playerking and that Reinhartmax has made numerous edits to your userpages. You've already been asked about Rahl1, so that doesn't help your cause. So if you may, please explain why you share an IP address with the two users.--ForceFire 05:17, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

I usually use a school computer in one of the classrooms to do my edits since I am in there so often. I don't know either of those users.--Rahl (talk) 05:20, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Also Rahl1's account is my brother's account, which was figured out at least a year ago and I have many people who edit my userpage, like Playerking95, Pattyman, Seabiscuit2020, and JasonL to name a few. There have also been quite a few people involved in the discussion about the Slash move, like Playerking, as you mentioned, and 05308.--Rahl (talk) 05:30, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
You initially said you wanted to keep the Rahl1 account before saying that he was your sibling. Leading me to doubt it. I singled out Reinhartmax because most of his userpage edits have been made to your userspace, one doesn't spend so much time editing a specific user's userspace.
And on the IP addresses, that would be believable if two of the IP addresses used did track back to an school's IP address, which they don't. One of the non school IP address have you and Pikablu using it 7 minutes apart from eachother. And the computer details do not change from user to user with those IP addresses, meaning it's coming from the same computer. So... explain?--ForceFire 05:39, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
I don't know when I even said I wanted to keep the Rahl1 account. I remember that he was asked about and said something like that because he was confused about what it was asking. Maybe Pikablu is one of my roommates who uses the shared computer we have in the house. I love editing on this site and I would never do anything to mess that up. Should I ask about it with them?--Rahl (talk) 11:48, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Uh... huh. So your roommate just happens to share an interest of Pokémon and just happen to stumble upon Bulbapedia and just happen to be editing in the areas you have edited? That's a bit too coincidental.--ForceFire 03:33, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
I have 3 roommates (or housemates however you want to call it) and we all play Pokémon and we discuss it quite a lot so I think the chances are pretty high. I don't know what you are exactly looking for me to say or what it will take for you to believe me on this that this is my only account. Other than a few times when I get stubborn with a policy I think I have been a wonderful contributor to Bulbapedia.--Rahl (talk) 03:41, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
So you happen to have three roommates which perfectly matches the amount of users using the same IP address as you. The fact that both you and Pikablu share the exact same opinion (The moves, Dawn's Pachirisu's gender, Shauna's Ivysaur and Tierno's Blastoise should get pages) and that you think it's your roommates (and I'm pretty sure you'd know if you discuss Pokémon related topics to eachother), is why I'm suspicious.--ForceFire 04:04, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

Only one of them has an account on here and I thought it was only two users that we were talking about, not three. Considering how little he edits on here I never really bothered to ask what his name was and yes his account is Pikablu. Whenever one of the four of us found something we thought was wrong on here it would come up and that's probably where some similar ideas come from. I will make sure that I don't voice my opinion if he does so it doesn't seem like I am using numbers to get something to happen.--Rahl (talk) 14:28, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

I assumed Rahl1 was also your roommate (siblings can be roommates too :P). Wait, you didn't ask which account it is yet you know it's Pikablu? That doesn't seem right. How could you possibly know, if you've never asked?--ForceFire 04:13, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
No I don't live with him right now and I'm talking about Pikablu because I asked (after we started this conversation) what his account name was and he said it was that.--Rahl (talk) 04:22, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Manga moves

Just letting you know that the Manual of Style prohibits the adding of Pokémon moves on here unless it was called out by name first. It's completely different than the anime since not many of the moves are easily recognizable. Some of the stuff that were added so far have not been confirmed by name. PattyMan 00:19, 4 November 2015 (UTC)

Sorry I didn't know that. Won't happen again.--Rahl (talk) 00:41, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
And here is a reminder to not do this, please. Ataro (talk) 06:57, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
If you check it Gold said for Togebo to use Fly.--Rahl (talk) 13:14, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
OK, this is getting really tiresome. I've reverted and removed edits multiple times. Just as a reminder, I will give you one, final warning: do not add any moves to a page if they haven't been outright called out. The next time I find you doing this, it will result in a block. Ataro (talk) 03:54, 25 June 2016 (UTC)

Pokémon articles

Some advice, if you wanted an article from your userspace to be mainspaced, you can ask an admin to take care of the redirects blocking the move instead of transferring content from the userspace to the redirect in particular, provided that the userspace articles were approved first. PattyMan 04:45, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Mainspacing articles

Firstly, do not move a page from your userspace to the mainspace without staff approval. You were warned similarly above with Clemont's Magneton. Just because you haven't received a response from someone you have asked to review your pages, that does not mean it is okay for you to move your pages anyway. If you must, either ask again or ask someone else, but do not take the decision into your own hands.

Secondly, as Pattyman said above, copy and pasting your article over an existing redirect is not the proper way to accomplish a move. If a redirect is in the way, please leave it to staff members to move.

Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 07:39, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Help

Hi, seeing how you've been able to make rather well articles for some of the pokedex holders' pokemon in adventures, can you help me with the summaries I'm working on (I work on several wikias as well, so my time to work on them, including this one, are limited. Especially on a wiki where I'm the sole editor) I could use help first with Celebi if you accept, early thanks.Animaltamer713:30, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

Yea I would love to help. Give me a list of what needs it and I will get on them as soon as I can.--Rahl (talk) 13:40, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you :), the pages are these two:
User:Animaltamer7/Fletchy & User:Animaltamer7/Celebi (Adventures)
Animaltamer713:47, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
I have not read the XY series yet so I don't know how much I can do for Fletchy but I will give it a shot. I will get to Celebi soon.--Rahl (talk) 13:50, 9 February 2016 (UTC)

How?

How do you keep making those awesome articles? What's your inspiration? I keep seeing you adding well-detailed pages about characters. I'd love to be able to do as you do, what's your secret? :o MannedTooth (Talk) 03:18, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for noticing my work first of all. My biggest inspiration is the fact that it has not been done yet even though there have been years where someone could have. Find something that you find interesting and research it some. Then add it to the page. Try expanding a page that's already made, it might be easier than starting from scratch.--Rahl (talk) 03:41, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
No problem, I often read your work. :P The thing is, I feel that, except for undone pages, everything's been said, and if not, I do not possess the information that's missing. As for the wanted pages, I would gladly make some, as exemple, I wanted to make Tamarind page as requested on the Editor's Hub, but since the page is not created, I have no idea whatsoever of who that is, or where does it appears. :P MannedTooth (Talk) 03:47, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
Well if you read the Adventures Manga most of the Pokemon's pages are not close to done. Check the chapter pages and the chapters themselves for information. I don't know too much about Tamarind though, sorry about that.--Rahl (talk) 03:53, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

Help again

Hey Rahl, can you help me make the summary for User:Animaltamer7/Sunbo. I've been trying to find time to help it (as you know by my help on wikias). I would appreciate it if you help, early thanks.Animaltamer710:02, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Yea I would love to help. I will get on it as soon as I can.--Rahl (talk) 17:46, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
Didn't she appear in the Emerald Chapter as well?Animaltamer713:44, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
I may have missed it but as far as I can tell no she did not.--Rahl (talk) 14:27, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
Just checked, and your right, I check on Serebii sometimes to make sure I didn't miss a chapter to organize the debut section of a pokemon's first appearance in the manga. Someone really needs to fix the Sunflora page.Animaltamer710:40, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
Yea that does need done. I think the page is done if you are ready to ask for someone to mainspace it. Best of luck.--Rahl (talk) 12:45, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

What was wrong what i said

Clemont's magneton was shown not to hesitate to attack his own trainer or shown to be happy to see him unlike Celmont's Magntie--SilverioBOMB (talk) 14:23, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

There is nothing wrong with what you said. I just think the grammar could be better.--Rahl (talk) 14:36, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
So can you please add it --SilverioBOMB (talk) 10:52, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

This page needs you! :P

Hey, I know that you are a great writer and love the manga page, so I've come across this page and thought that it needed your help for the personality and characteristics section.

Do you want me to contact you whenever I found a page like this one? Tell me! :P MannedTooth (Talk) 19:22, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

I was actually planning on getting to that one soon. I'm just finishing up Green's last two and then I am moving on to Gold. No need to tell me (though I don't mind) because I plan on getting to them all.--Rahl (talk) 21:14, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
Okay! I just thought that you might miss some :P so that would make you kind of a checklist. :P MannedTooth (Talk) 21:22, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

Clemont's Dedenne

Sorry about reverting your edit on Clemont's Dedenne, I messed up reading and read it backwards. Just saw the original editor you reverted fixed my screw-up. ChE clarinetist (talk) 01:25, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

No harm done. --Rahl (talk) 01:38, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Legendary beasts

Hey Rahl, could you help me with the summary for the legendary beasts (adventures), early thanks.Animaltamer704:21, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

I would love to help. I will get on it soon.--Rahl (talk) 16:26, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
It looks good, thanks again for the help.Animaltamer703:43, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
Glad I could help.--Rahl (talk) 04:57, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Edit revert

Hi, can I ask why you removed this piece of trivia from the Lights, Camera, Pika episode page ??? → PikaTepig999 11:37, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

Because since Unova it has been common for Team Rocket to miss episodes. It is no longer a noteworthy thing.--Rahl (talk) 12:22, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
Oh, I dint not know that since I've not watched the whole BW series. Thanks for your reply. → PikaTepig999 09:08, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Block

I have told you, multiple times, not to add moves that weren't used. As such, you have been blocked. Manga is a visual medium. If you cannot see a move being used, then you do not have the authority to add information about it to a page. Neither Quick Attack or Swift were actually used on panel. Even if you didn't know that, you still shouldn't have assumed they were used in the first place. Ataro (talk) 16:35, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

I only added the info to Swift and Quick Attack because it Veevee had Swift and Quick Attack mentioned. I had no idea that they were not used, I just added it for consistency. I would appreciate if I wasn't blocked over a mistake like that. --Rahl (talk) 17:12, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Arceus (Adventures)

Hey Rahl can you help me with this.User:Animaltamer711:17, 4 August 2016 (UTC)

Yea I would love to help. I don't know if this Pokémon had enough importance though for its own page. Ask an admin if it is worth it first and if they say yes I will start working on it.--Rahl (talk) 13:14, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
I don't think that's necessary since Arceus is the main Legendary for the HGSS chapter.User:Animaltamer713:09, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
Even though it is I don't know if it necessarily did much other than rampage.--Rahl (talk) 13:14, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
I asked Zesty and she said it was alright.Animaltamer708:02, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
Alright I will get to it soon.--Rahl (talk) 12:22, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks so much for your help again :) Animaltamer703:47, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
No problem. I'm always glad to help with this. Sorry it took me so long this time.--Rahl (talk) 13:44, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
No prob, I know people are busy with life and stuff.Animaltamer709:15, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Talk page comments

You've been here long enough to know that talk page comments are not to be edited, especially other users' comments. The only exception is if the talk page in question is linking to a red link showing up on the wanted pages or to an image that doesn't exist. Fixing others' spelling errors is just silly—just leave the comment be. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 19:53, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

It slipped my mind. Sorry about that.--Rahl (talk) 22:41, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Genderless Pokémon

I saw that the anime's Pokémon's gender who were normally genderless in the games were changed to genderless in the infobox. Did you have a source stating that the Pokémon were confirmed to not have a gender as games=/=anime and Keldeo being male proves that normally genderless Pokémon can be male or female? If I remember correctly, only Professor Oak's Rotom was stated to not have a gender instead of the other Pokémon. PattyMan 16:21, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

Sorry I just assumed that they were Genderless since that is the only option for them. Like how the Forces of Nature are only male. I'll go around and get rid of what I did.--Rahl (talk) 17:07, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
No problem, things happen. The male-only Pokémon were a separate story as the anime followed that game mechanic before. Thanks by the way for your uploads of Trainer and Pokémon images. PattyMan 17:26, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

Blocked again.

OK. I have been patient. Too patient, it seems. You have been warned no less than four times on this very page about not adding moves that have not been called out. Despite these warnings and numerous reverts and image deletions, you have continued to do so. As such, you have been blocked for a second time for this. If you continue to ignore this warning again, it will be permanent. Now please, listen to what people ask of you. Ataro (talk) 01:53, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Adding pictures.

Please, just because an image has been uploaded does not mean it needs to be added to an article immediately. I have spent the last few hours editing X's history section so I can add that image, because if I didn't, then the image would have no context towards it. After if there's no context, then the image shouldn't be there yet as it'll confuse people reading the article. In the future, assume that if a user uploads an image, that they are planning to use it somewhere. So it's not necessary to add it to the article before them. Thank you. - unsigned comment from Ataro (talkcontribs) 20:54, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Alright sorry about that. If there is no context I'll refrain from adding an image from now on.--Rahl (talk) 21:04, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Linking to Ash's page

Please use Ash, not Ash. Thank you. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 12:41, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Anime link: You're doing it wrong!

I see you're adding links to the Pokémon anime on each Pokémon's own page. A little tip: The article for the anime is "Pokémon anime", not just "anime". Please, use the pkmn template from now on, and, if you feel like it, fix the links you've already made. Thank you very much. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:08, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

Could you give me an example on how to do that I'm a little confused about it. I will get to fixing it as soon as I know how.--Rahl (talk) 17:12, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
Typing anime will link you to Pokémon anime with the text anime. Please review the list of link templates. You've been here more than long enough and should get the hang of at least our most basic ones by now. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 19:02, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
This is a reminder to review the list of link templates. You should not be linking to species articles with square brackets; instead, please use the p template. Similarly, to link to Ability articles please use the a template, and to link to move articles please use the m template. And a few other ones I've caught: to link to Ash's page, please use the Ash template, and to link to Gary's page, please use the Gary template. Please, please, please get the basic link templates down; take a good, long look at the list of link templates. It will help you in the long run and save other people some time from having to run after and clean up your mistakes. Thank you. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 19:29, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
I apologize for that. I normally do use those it was just a lapse in my memory and I don't plan on letting it happen again.--Rahl (talk) 19:55, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

pokémon links

Hey, I saw what you were doing with the anime links, that's great, how about you start from the start (Bblbasaur) and I'll start from the end (Volcanion) and we add them until we meet up? Also, don't forget to add every instances of the anime links, and other anime, such as Pokémon Origins and Generations etc. Here's a tip! Ctrl + F and search for File: it should make it pretty faster. :P MannedTooth (Talk) 19:42, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

Yea if you want to. I'll get started right now, thanks for the help.--Rahl (talk) 19:44, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
FYI, as a rule, a link only needs to be done once in a section. (At the same time, though, that's not to say that every section would necessarily need a link to the same page.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 20:35, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
Alright, I was just following what I saw done on Venusaur and Charizard's page. I'll only link it once from now on.--Rahl (talk) 20:36, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

Adventures pokemon debut section

Ok just so that an edit war won't start, I will compromise. I'm alright with putting the owner's name beside the pokemon if it's their pokemon that debuted as the first individual of a species whole. However the Adventures manga isn't like the main series anime, although yes they are both the longest in their form of media (anime and manga respectively), that doesn't mean they have the same debut section format. In addition the anime series goes on with a single main character, being Ash, that goes through each region seemingly without a consistent timeline (being that he's still 10 by BW series despite the obvious amount of time he should have aged a bit), while in Adventures they follow different main character(s) for each arc and there is a consistent timeline (each event actually confirmed with taking years or so between each arc).Animaltamer712:57, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm fine with that. I'll undo the stuff I did.--Rahl (talk) 16:17, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

Moon's Pokemon Template

Is it alright if I help edit Moon's Pokemon template? Animaltamer711:07, 26 December 2016 (UTC)

Of course! Feel free to improve any of my pages.--Rahl (talk) 14:59, 26 December 2016 (UTC)

Anime Pokemon nav templates

I'm gonna parrot Carmenstar97's advice from another user's talk page here, but I think it's very reasonable advice: templates for anime characters' Pokémon should not be created unless at least two Pokémon belonging to that character have their own pages.

In the aired episodes, it seems like Lillie currently has no Pokemon with their own pages. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt with the Lillie's Vulpix page that was created, that's still only one. Therefore, I've moved the template you created to User:Rahl/Lillie's Pokémon.

Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:31, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. Sorry about that.--Rahl (talk) 21:44, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

Creation trio help

Hey Rahl, since my computer is still in need of repair, I'm not able to add as much content to the articles on mobile where I'm better at the pc. So could you help me with my Creation trio page?Animaltamer708:31, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Yea I will get to it soon.--Rahl (talk) 14:07, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

Hoping Ataro reads this as I have no other way to contact him.

Ataro. Could you please explain to me why I am blocked. I was adding links to pages and had no idea that you would not approve of the pages. You could simply message me and say something like "those pages are not official/wanted/going to stay so stop editing them". As soon as I noticed I started to undo my edits to fix the mistakes I made. Blocking me for adding information that was there and needed links discourages me and others from editing. Hope to hear back from you.--Rahl (talk) 22:14, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

You were blocked partially because I wanted to make sure I could revert all those edits before you or someone else added more. I did not see you reverting your edits until it was already too late. My apologies. Also, a word of warning: if you see someone like Pikablu make edits like that, don't just blindly add the pages to articles. Consult them with a higher up. I've already had to delete or revert some of Pikablu's earlier edits for similar rule-breaking. Ataro (talk) 22:31, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
I'm sorry about that. I'll make sure it's credible or ask an admin about stuff like that in the future. Also if I need to reach an admin while blocked how would I go about that?--Rahl (talk) 22:41, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Rowlet is Moses

Why'd you remove this trivia, this parting-sea-thing looked totally like a reference to Moses' story!--Arisboch (talk) 02:10, 9 March 2017 (UTC)

I don't think that was the point though, plus it was on the wrong episode.--Rahl (talk) 15:58, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for noticing, it was actually from the 11th episode.--Arisboch (talk) 17:21, 9 March 2017 (UTC)

Ho-Oh and Lugia picture

Hey Rahl, do you have a copy of the previous picture of [image], because it was used as the adventures pic of the Tower duo before you updated it.Animaltamer701:37, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

I'm not sure what picture you are talking about. Do you have any other way to show me?--Rahl (talk) 17:44, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
This pic had Lugia and Ho-Oh before you updated it to have the round title. I'm asking if you had a copy of the previous version.Animaltamer709:12, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
PS165.png
Just chiming in here, y'all — just go to that picture's page on the Archives, scroll to the history section at the very bottom, click on the thumbnail of the old version, and you'll get a full-res version of it. Then, you just have to save it to your computer, upload it as a new file, and change the image link on the Tower duo page. It's super simple. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 14:47, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

Recreating deleted categories

I'm going to ask you to stop adding pages to Category:Pokémon with anime move errors for now. When you were recreating the category, you likely have noticed that the category had previously been deleted. There was very likely a logical reason behind that decision, and the category should not have been recreated without discussion. In any case, even if we were to keep the category, the pages would be added to the category through the use of the anmov template, and not manually (which is not preferred if we can easily do it via a template). So for now, please stop adding pages to that category, and please verify whether the category is even needed with an administrator before continuing. Thank you. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 17:51, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

I'll stop immediately. If it is a problem feel free to remove what I did.--Rahl (talk) 17:52, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

Re:Creation trio (Adventures)

Well I was waiting for the whole mainspacing articles dilemma the editorial board was having, to be over with. Now since it seems to be over already, I'll try and ask now.Animaltamer701:27, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

Dino's Pokémon

I see you undid my edit on Dino's page regarding his Pokémon and so, I decided to bring this up here, instead of undoing your edit (in order to avoid edit warring). The thing is, even if they are not important, and did not even make a physical appearance, the Pokémon are all well categorized and are different species of Pokémon, and hence, by Bulbapedia's standards, must be listed separately on a character's page. Harryghost (talk) 17:03, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

My apologizes, they should all be shown. However, its still taking up a lot of space to put them all like that. I've changed it so they are all shown but in a way that's more compressed.--Rahl (talk) 17:21, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

I saw your edit and I feel it looks perfect, better than I was thinking myself. Thank you! Harryghost (talk) 03:28, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

Captions

I don't know how many more pages there even are that you could still edit, but I would suggest that changing things like "Nando and Roserade" to "Roserade and Nando" are pretty pointless edits, at least when that's all you're doing and you're doing it so widely. (Even "Nando and his Roserade" isn't at all enough of a problem to "require" a change or anything.) If you're editing one of these pages for other reasons, you're welcome to "fix" the order of such captions if you want, but if that's all you have to edit, can you maybe refrain? Like I said, it's really not that bad. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:58, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

I'll try to avoid doing it unless I have another reason to edit the page.--Rahl (talk) 23:24, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

Please wait.

If it would be so kind, could you not immediately begin editing the articles when the scans of PokeSPedia are being posted. I am trying to actually translate the Abilities and natures and it is incredibly frustrating seeing levels added and nothing else, especially since it forces me to open a new tab and replace your edit with what I was typing. In the end, all you're doing is making more work. Thank you. Ataro (talk) 01:41, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I'll stop.--Rahl (talk) 01:43, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

Genders in the anime

Since you apparently did not read the edit summary that was at the top of the history of all the articles you just added genders to, let me repeat: Per Tiddlywinks on User talk:Master Lucario#Gender in the anime, costumes are not proof of gender unless the episode explicitly states that the costumes indicate gender. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 22:35, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

Adventures articles

While I appreciate you creating articles about Pokémon in the Pokémon Adventures manga, I must say that the articles you've created have many faults that take up other users', including my, time to fix. I'll list some of those problems for you here:
1) Inconsistent tenses.
2) Redirect links.
3) Excessive use of the word "then".
4) Grammatical errors.
So, in the future, I request that you either avoid making these mistakes, or ask someone's help in fixing them before mainspacing the article. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:05, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

No problem and thanks for letting me know. I know I'm not the best writer. Feel free to look at any of the pages I have on my page right now and improve them.--Rahl (talk) 19:29, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

Gladion's Umbreon

Just to say thanks for your help with my Gladion's Umbreon page.

No problem, glad to help.--Rahl (talk) 14:30, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

Something to know

A couple things I'd like to say about your edits today:
1) The actual links for Pokémon Adventures chapters are formatted as "X chapter (Adventures)", not just "X chapter".
2) Try avoid having black edges on your uploaded pictures, such as this.
3) Anabel's Mismagius used Phantom Force, not Shadow Force. The latter is a signature move of Giratina. The translator must've just gotten the two mixed up.
--FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:08, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

Ah sorry about that error and the image. I didn't even notice the translation error there, good catch.--Rahl (talk) 08:10, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

Ash's friends

Just so we don't start any edit wars, why did you remove Seaking and the Ultra Beasts from Ash's friends? Seaking was caught by Misty in EP168, but immediately released afterwards. Not notable enough for its own page, sure, but it was definitely caught by her. Cilan did something similar, catching a Basculin in BW037 just to release it. The Ultra Beasts are under the same rules, caught Pokémon to be released back into their natural habitats. Iml908 (talk) 03:32, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

Someone else added the Ultra Beasts to the template earlier, and this is the response they got from an admin. "The Ultra Beasts the characters caught were only owned for less than an episode, they don't count and shouldn't be added to the released section, they belong to the temporary section. The released section is only for Pokémon they've owned for a prolonged period of time."--Rahl (talk) 04:29, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Okay then. So, should Cilan's Basculin be removed as well? And what about the Lana's Lapras and Kiawe's Charizard, since they are only Ride Pokémon? Iml908 (talk) 13:47, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
I forgot about Basculin, it probably should as well. Lapras and Charizard are owned by them, and Charizard even stays in Kiawe's party. I think this is just talking about only owned for one episode kind of Pokémon.--Rahl (talk) 14:09, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

Sweet Scent

I deeply apologize, but I just undid your edit on Mallow's Tsareena's page. I personally agree with you, but for some odd reason, Playerking95 (talkcontribs) seems to somewhat disagree with this, calling it "speculation". I already started a discussion on the subject on his talk page, so feel free to voice your opinions on the matter there. I would've left your edit untouched otherwise, but I tried readding the info there myself earlier today, only to have my edit undone by a higher-up user. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:44, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Ah, had no idea there was a thing going on with it. Thanks for letting me know.--Rahl (talk) 13:57, 27 July 2018 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your contributions to Gladion's Umbreon page, I appreciate it. Hopefully soon, it will become another mainspace article.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:57, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Happy to help! I'd like to see all of Gladion's Pokémon get a page, I think they've all done enough and will likely do more in the future.--Rahl (talk) 13:02, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Well I've asked Abcboy to have another look when he gets the chance and his earlier feedback looked positive so with any luck, it won't be long.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:06, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
That's great to hear! Maybe ask about Lycanroc as well? It would be nice to get them both at once.--Rahl (talk) 13:08, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Will do, you wouldn't mind also having a look over this other page which maybe close to being mainspaced as well, User:BigDocFan/Oranguru_(anime)--BigDocFan (talk) 13:18, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
I'll look it over.--Rahl (talk) 13:19, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
Good news is that Oranguru got mainspaced, abcboy is just waiting to hear back on Lycanroc and Umbreon.--BigDocFan (talk) 06:54, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
That's great to hear!--Rahl (talk) 11:51, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
Was wondering if you're up for it and get a chance, you could also help contribute to User:BigDocFan/Professor Kukui's Incineroar BigDocFan (talk) 17:38, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
Absolutely! You might want to link it correctly correctly next time though, I had to go to your page to find it.--Rahl (talk) 17:42, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
My bad, always forget how to correctly link my own pages--BigDocFan (talk) 17:51, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
I gave it my best. You did pretty good with it. I wouldn't expect to get a page from this one yet. It's only shown up twice so far.--Rahl (talk) 18:16, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm pretty confident that Incineroar will turn up again at some point, thought I would create the basic page and fill it in ready for when the time comes.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:20, 2 September 2018 (UTC)

Kiawe's Turtonator

Hey just a heads up, Charizard appeared before Turtonator did in SM001. So Charizard does go before Turtonator. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 16:18, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Oh, I'm sorry. I assumed that since Turtonator was owned first and they both appeared in the first episode that it could be moved around. I'll change back what I was doing.--Rahl (talk) 16:19, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
We don't know which he owned first, in which case the Pokémon that appeared first gets listed first. Charizard appeared first as Ash saw it and Kiawe fly overhead when he was lost in the forest in SM001. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 16:21, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Hey

Hope I don't become annoying by turning to you for help with possible mainspace articles but could you have a look at User:BigDocFan/Matori's_Meowth and see if you can add anything. You've been a great help with getting previous articles mainspaced.--BigDocFan (talk) 07:47, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Not a problem. I just looked it over. --Rahl (talk) 13:10, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, as with Incineroar, it probably isn't notable enough for its own page but it is possible in future, it will be notable.--BigDocFan (talk) 14:22, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
Let's hope so.--Rahl (talk) 14:31, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Hope you don't mind helping out with my newest page, User:BigDocFan/Professor_Kukui's_Braviary, as with the previous two, not notable enough at present but could be notable enough in future.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:19, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

I've looked it over. You'll have to fix the games section though. I tried for a while but its too complicated for me to get right. Incineroar also needs it's battle tree section added.--Rahl (talk) 02:53, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Managed to sort the games section out, really pleased with my contributions to Bulbapedia.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2018 (UTC)

Hau's Dartrix

Slightly confused by your reent edit to Hau's Dartrix. Would you mind explaining.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:56, 17 September 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I assume it's being made in preparation for the one showing up in the anime. As of right now we don't know if it will show up as a Rowlet, so I hid that information. Feel free to undo it if I made the wrong assumption.--Rahl (talk) 17:00, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
I see you're point, keep it hidden until it shows up as it might just be Dartrix.--BigDocFan (talk) 17:01, 17 September 2018 (UTC)

Surf

Don't just roll with every edit a user does and not question it. Surf was obviously not stated in the episode and it could've just been the Pokémon swimming. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:35, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I'll take a closer look next time a move is added.--Rahl (talk) 12:50, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Mainspacing your pages

Hey, just a quick question, why aren't you mainspacing your Pokemon Adventure's Pokemon pages? They are really good and have enough content for mainspacing, I think.--Yaronos (talk) 20:05, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for thinking so, but it is up to Ataro. He is in charge of mainspacing articles for the manga. I'm pretty sure most have been shot down, but feel free to ask. Maybe they deserve a second look.--Rahl (talk) 20:16, 3 October 2018 (UTC)

SM084

Obnoxious linking is not how thing are done as I said. Things like that are often undone my admins. If that's how it's done, don't undo the edit or find a way to improve it. Playerking95 (talk) 02:30, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Leaf / Unused Counterpart

Sorry just seemed a bit unnecessary to have another link to the unused counterpart when that counterpart is Leaf anyway.--DanyyelTR (talk) 20:29, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

It's no problem. Maybe it should be trivia related instead of mentioned there.--Rahl (talk) 21:16, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

Leaf / Unused Counterpart

Hey, I have made two pages with my username. They are named User:Seabiscuit2020/Sandbox/Aura trio (Adventures) and User:Seabiscuit2020/Sandbox/Light trio (Adventures) Feel free to edit them. Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 06:50 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know! I'll look at them soon.--Rahl (talk) 23:11, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Kiawe's Charizard

Could you wait until the page has been approved and moved before adding those major events? Have patience.--ForceFire 03:40, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Sure thing. Sorry about that.--Rahl (talk) 04:02, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Gender pronouns

While I'm okay with your idea of adding gender pronouns to replace "it" in anime move descriptions, may I suggest you that such a treatment should also be given to the manga descriptions? Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 20:14, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

I planned on getting to that, just need to take a break after doing that non-stop for over an hour.--Rahl (talk) 20:17, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Understandable. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 21:27, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Was wondering if you could give me a hand with User:BigDocFan/Ida's Primarina please?--BigDocFan (talk) 11:00, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

It didn't look like there was much to add, but I made a few updates.--Rahl (talk) 11:42, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for your help, probably not notable enough right now for mainspacing but hopefully it will return in future episodes.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:25, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
I imagine it will.--Rahl (talk) 13:26, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Brave Cannon

Can you upload an image of Ash's Rowlet and Meltan using Brave Cannon in SM118? It's a combination of Flash Cannon and Brave Bird. Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 19:51, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

It's been done.--Rahl (talk) 19:57, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Grandpa Forest

Sorry to keep disturbing you, was wondering if you could assist with User:BigDocFan/Grandpa Forest--BigDocFan (talk) 12:18, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

I made some tweaks, but it looks pretty good already.--Rahl (talk) 14:18, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks--BigDocFan (talk) 15:26, 20 May 2019 (UTC)

Professor Kukui's Lycanroc

Kukui's Rockruff appeared in the Pokémon Masters Trailer, but as a Lycanroc. Check out the video for yourself. What are we supposed to do with that information? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:30, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

Put it on Kukui's page like Rosa's Snivy or Erika's Vileplume. Ash's Lycanroc's page only cover Kuiku's Rockruff since he only had it in that stage. That's why you don't see any of the Lycanroc battles that take place in the games.--Rahl (talk) 23:33, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:10, 1 July 2019 (UTC)

Abilities

This is something I've wanted to bring up for a while now: last summer, you added Pokémon Adventures Abilities to each Ability page. However, just saying "<Pokémon> was revealed to have X as its Ability" without context from which the confirmation came from looks awkward. In case the Ability was confirmed by some other way than it being mentioned somewhere, it would be more grammatically correct to just say "<Pokémon> has X as its Ability". --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:41, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

That does make more sense. I was just trying to keep the wording the same but feel free to change it to what you said.--Rahl (talk) 12:39, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

Team Rocket's Meowth a recurring wild Pokémon?

I have to strongly disagree with this stance because Meowth is pretty much a main character, not a recurring one, plus he belongs to the Team Rocket organization. What's your rationale for this? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:03, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

Personally, I would take it up with the one that started this, I just saw it added and put in a link. Though I do agree that he is part of that category because A) he is a wild Pokémon, which has been proven a few times and B) he showed up in more than one episode. That is what the page is for. Also, every character but Ash and Pikachu can be considered recurring because they don't show up in every episode. The TRT are main characters, yes, but since Unova they've also become recurring ones.--Rahl (talk) 00:11, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
What do you mean "you saw it added"? Do you mean this? Also, while A sounds reasonable, one can't be both a main character and a recurring one. Which one is it supposed to be? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:21, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, that along with the edit to the recurring page itself. To me it makes sense because Meowth is wild and showed up in more than an episode but you make a good point. I would ask an admin for a ruling on it because I could see both sides.--Rahl (talk) 00:46, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

Go's Scyther edit

Hey! I'm going to have to remind you to use the p template whenever linking to Pokémon articles. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:39, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Sorry about that, not sure how that slipped my mind.--Rahl (talk) 11:15, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Genders, yet again

Please do not assume genders. Unless the gender was stated or the Pokemon was hit by attract/cute charm. Neither of those happened for Raichu. We can't use gender differences for Raichu as Raichu (as a species) existed before gender differences were a thing and a female variant has not yet appeared in the anime (despite a female Raichu having already appeared post Gen IV). This will be your only warning about this, as you have been here for a long time and really should know better. Any further assumptions made will have consequences, as I am tired of having to say all this to an experienced user. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:31, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Mew (anime)

I've started work on a page for Mew, was wondering if you could lend a hand.--BigDocFan (talk) 19:31, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

Raboot appearances

You unhid Raboot's appearances in SS024 and SS025, even though I don't recall we've received verification of it appearing in said episodes. What's your source? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:21, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

No source, just common sense. It's a walking Pokemon that has appeared in every episode since its introduction and is one of the main characters of this series. It's similar to how we would put Clemont's Dedenne as appearing in XY or Iris's Axew in BW.--Rahl (talk) 18:24, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Raboot has the possibility of evolving, among others. Bulbapedia doesn't consider Raboot appearing in an episode being a certainty. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:40, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

Genesect

May I ask where was it stated that both Blake and Colress's Genesect left them? I skimmed through the chapter again, and unless I missed something, they weren't in the last bit. Yes, the two lights were most likely them (I assumed they were the dragons), but I'd like something more concrete. Ataro (talk) 16:41, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

I assume it's because Genesect isn't seen in the final shot with Blake and all of his other Pokémon. But if that's the case, I wouldn't really count it as solid evidence. The streaks in the sky were definitely just the two dragons flying off. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:08, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
I asked the creator for confirmation 1. It was the dragons.--Rahl (talk) 11:44, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
You can contact the creator? Can you ask them what the Red Genesect's Techno Blast's type was while Colress battled Blake? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:18, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
I can, but he doesn't answer often and I don't want to bombard him with questions.--Rahl (talk) 13:09, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
I figured as much. And therefore, I'm not planning on asking more questions from him after this. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:23, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Recent Pokespe fandom issue

Hey so I saw your post on Ataro's talkpage, so what happened recently is a long time translator did something horrible, it's better if you see this post to know more about it.Animaltamer7 (talk) 15:31, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Wow. This is bad, but I'm happy something is being done about it. Thanks for informing me.--Rahl (talk) 15:42, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
No problem. Animaltamer7 (talk) 15:47, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Why was I wrong

It was we seen the show --Gian9456 01:15, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

Are you referring to the Farfetch'd edit? It didn't have anything to do with the accuracy, it was because the grammar was wrong. I didn't know how to fix it up and I figured it would be better to not have it at all. Sorry.--Rahl (talk) 01:20, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

I was saying Farfetch'd proven to be more resilient as it was stated by that Trainer of Girder. It took heavy blows but still gotten up to battle further.--Gian9456 01:24, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

Wikstrom's Scizor

The article now also has info of Wikstrom's Scizor from the games, so the redirect should lead there. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:58, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

If you really think so but I think that is a misdirect. The page is for Goh's Scizor, not Wikstrom's. Him owning it for a few minutes doesn't make it his primary Scizor or the one people will think of.--Rahl (talk) 17:00, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Whether it's his primary Scizor or not doesn't matter. It only matters that it was a Scizor belonging to him. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:06, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Wait. I completely forgot he even had one in the anime in the first place... --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:07, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, the fact he has a different Scizor is my issue with it. If it was the only one than of course it should redirect there but with the other one I feel the main one should be the link.--Rahl (talk) 17:11, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

Image quality

A good quality version of today's episode will surface soon enough. Please avoid uploading poor quality images in the meantime. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:29, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Didn't you already say something about this on the Archives?--Rahl (talk) 16:25, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Ash Dragonite

Ash's Dragonite encounters Iris's Dragnoite, who had a personality completely opposed to the others of their kind. Dragonite has shown its apprehension in battling against the terrifying Dragonite. Although Dragonite was ready to put his hesitation as a sideline to do his best to win the battle for Ash.

what the issue u didn't explain. You cant delete without explanation. why what wrong with it. Don't JUST SAY GRAMMER. LIKE WHAT ABOUT IT. where you see the mistakes in it. How can I improve it. You need to explain --Gian9456 02:44, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Your grammar isn't good, try to get better at your grammar instead of wanting others to fix your summaries.Animaltamer7 (talk) 02:49, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

where the mistakes. you didnt answer at all. you just repeat what i was saying. I don't understand you have tome to say it.--Gian9456 02:52, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Why aren't you explaining your edits

Rahl, you appear to have a habit of undoing edits and removing information without explaining. Could you please provide a reason for the change in your edit summaries, like for example why did you remove the information from Ash's Unfezant, you provided no reason, so as I result I undid your edit and explained why I undid yours, Many thanks ポッチャマ (talk) 00:06, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

Notable major event

I think Chloe meeting Matori for the first time is notable enough. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 23:47, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

Neither of them are main characters. Would it be worth noting if Professor Cerise met her? I really don't think so.Rahl (talk) 23:54, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Chloe first meeting Jessie and James was considered notable enough, so why not this too? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 00:03, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
Because that was Jessie and James meeting her. They made it important enough.Rahl (talk) 00:04, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Journeys manga

The first translated version of the Journeys manga was released last month. Could you help add titles of the translated chapter titles to the appropriate links around Bulbapedia? I've already added them to the chapter articles several other articles. Also, when the manga's title was translated from "Pocket Monsters" to "Pokémon Journeys: The Series'", many section titles were left in an alphabetically incorrect order. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:28, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Do you know where I can find the manga?--Rahl (talk) 11:20, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
The chapter titles are visible on volume 1's article. The manga's article is "Pokémon Journeys: The Series (manga)". --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:31, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
The second volume is out now, and I've added the chapter titles to the volume's article and the respective chapter articles, plus several other pages. Can you help with the rest? PS. Don't forget about reordering the manga section titles if necessary. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:56, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
I'll try but I'm going to wait until I can read it and a quick search online didn't bring up any results for it. Any idea where I can find it? --Rahl (talk) 17:07, 22 March 2022 (UTC)

Manual revert

Hey, just thought I'd let you know by manually removing the trivia that L.Z. added to EP086, the other changes I had made were still left reverted. It probably would have been better to just use the undo button. Landfish7 03:07, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Episodes in which an alternately colored Pokémon appears

Hi. If you don't mind, could you tell me which were the Pokémon that made you add this category to a good chunk of episodes? Thanks.- unsigned comment from Ricbolog1310 (talkcontribs)

Ash's Meltan, Ash's Gengar, and Z2 were the majority of the edits. --Rahl (talk) 12:37, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the answer.--Ricbolog1310 (talk) 14:05, 23 October 2022 (UTC)

After the story images

I think the image text should read "The "After the story" artwork for this episode" instead of "The After the story segment for this episode", both to differentiate the "After the story" segment of the text from the rest of the sentence, and also because it's not really a segment of the episode. Can you help edit that? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:45, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

That's a good suggestion. I'll start changing them now. --Rahl (talk) 11:37, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

The Starmobiles aren't the same as regular Revavroom

When i said "non-Pokémon opponents" i didn't mean Revavroom isn't a Pokémon; i mean that Starmobiles aren't Pokémon. Yes they use the name "Revavroom" in battle texts, but they are still named Starmobiles in their HP bars and have different internal data structures (apparently, according to someone on the Bulbagarden Discord). That's why i tried moving your edits into separate Starmobile headings.

And like i said, non-Pokémon opponents do not count against signature Abilities/moves. Majin has Wonder Guard but that page still mentions it as being signature to Shedinja, for example. Anzasquiddles (talk) 21:25, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

Ah, my bad. I was looking at it the wrong way. --Rahl (talk) 21:28, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

Darkest Lariat

I see you've added the image showing Ash's Incineroar using Darkest Lariat onto the move page, seeing as the anime has 3 images from Journeys with two of them being Incineroar, I don't feel the image is needed on there.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 12:08, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
