By typing ~~~~ or clicking at the end of your comment on a talkpage, it will be signed automatically for you, and a timestamp will be put there as well. Don't go back and change the ones you missed now, though, because that will put the wrong time on. Just remember that in future. — THE TROM — 23:17, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for the help. PokemonMasterJamal3 00:03, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
User page edits
You're making too many of them. Please slow down. It stresses out the server. Try using the preview button before you save. Thanks. --ケンジのガール 22:04, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Oops, sorry about that. I got a little carried away. PokemonMasterJamal3 22:06, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

Ugh... alright, I'm done with the user page edits for today. PokemonMasterJamal3 22:31, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Edit warring
As you should already know by now, edit warring is not permitted on Bulbapedia. Due to the extremity of the edit war to the Version page, you have been blocked for 72 hours. If someone reverts an edit you make, revert or otherwise, take the issue to the talk page and do not re-revert until a proper discussion & agreement/decision has been reached. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 01:33, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
I need friend for x and y
- Hi I don't have YouTube account but I need a friend so check out my talk page for the code and tell me when you did it - unsigned comment from Superblooper (talk • contribs)
- Please remember to sign your comments with four tildes. Also, do not spam people's talk pages (such as mine) for friend codes. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 14:07, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
s's or s'
This is a moot point since templates have caused Bulbapedia admins to dictate that s's is the preferred possessive in all cases on Bulbapedia, but since you bothered to point out your disagreement with me, I hope you don't mind me coming here to explain my reasoning for my edit summary. Since Bulbapedia style automatically precludes other style guides, feel free to completely ignore this overly pedantic post.
As stated in the AP Stylebook (I'm using the 2012 edition, but even if you have a different one, it's probably almost the same), page 296, in the punctuation guide's entry on apostrophes:
- Singular common nouns ending in S: Add 's unless the next word begins with s: the hostess's invitation, the hostess' seat; the witness's answer, the witness' story.
- Singular proper names ending in S: Use only an apostrophe: Achilles' heel, Agnes' book, Ceres' rites, Descartes' theories, Dickens' novels, Euripides' dramas, Hercules' labors, Jesus' life, Jules' seat, Kansas' schools, Moses' law, Socrates' life, Tennessee Williams' plays, Xerxes' armies.
I will admit that the franchise leaves it kind of ambiguous whether Pokémon species names are proper nouns or just Common Nouns With Idiosyncratic Capitalization, but my opinion is that treating them as proper nouns imposes less fanon on the terms than making the assumption that the games' capitalization is incorrect. Thus, Xerneas' would be the inarguably correct usage by AP style. Though it might differ in other style guides I'm less familiar with, I want to make it clear to you that "Xerneas's" is not an end-all be-all; my edit summary was, in fact, correct by journalistic standards. - I don't mind at all. I am glad that you dropped by to explain your standpoint on the whole situation, as I was genuinely curious about it. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 19:09, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
AmourShipping
I never said I was the authority on AmourShipping and correcting a misleading assumption is not wrong at all. It has already been discussed and it is obvious that what Serena said in the end of episode XY008 was in no way referencing Ash but instead how nice it is to have a goal you are into; it was in no way ambiguous so stop interpreting it as such. In the pokemon forums, many fluent Japanese speakers have mentioned that it was not referencing Ash. Plus think about it, if that were the case, she would have blushed what with her crush on him. And just because other shipping pages put down ambiguous lines that are not necessarily hints, does not mean the same should be done for Amour. It was very rude of you to insinuate that I find myself the authority of the shipping page just for correcting an error. I love AmourShipping and I want the page to have hints and evidence, not fan speculations in them. Is that so wrong? Midnight Moon (talk) 01:30, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
- We could have continued this discussion on your talk page, you know... but anyway, I'll apologize for the "authority" comment, as that was rude on my part. The reason I said it was to stress my point, though. I agree with your points about ambiguity and we should really have less of it on shipping pages... I just wish you could have stated your arguments earlier on the talk page. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 06:53, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
Iris's Emolga trivia
The trivia piece regarding Emolga's weakness to her own types is confusing. I don't get it since she is Electric/Flying and Excadrill is Ground/Steel which means Electric defeats Flying and Ground defeats Steel. Could you explain regarding what it means by not having a weakness of her own types? PattyMan 22:09, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
- The trivia is specifically referring to Emolga herself (She is Electric/Flying, which means that Electric-type moves only do neutral damage to her and Flying-type moves will not be very effective), and as for Excadrill, since he is Ground/Steel, he is weak to one of his own types (Ground). As for the other Pokémon, Axew (Dragon) and Dragonite (Dragon/Flying) are both weak to one of their own types (Dragon for both). Hope this helps. The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Bfdifan2006 (T/C) 10:34, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
- I know the preview button exists. I only edited multiple times because there were grammar mistakes that initially escaped my notice. I'll try to keep it in mind, though. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 23:02, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

Eternal Flower Floette
I have posted the game code and references in the previous edition 1. Does this need to be discussed, given that it is self-explanatory? Asuna 08:19, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, it should be absolutely be discussed. Is there any official source outside of this game code that explicitly refers to Eternal Flower Floette as a Legendary Pokémon? It may be coded to function as Legendary for whatever reason, but that doesn't inherently mean it is one. There are no cases of a non-Legendary Pokémon being considered a Legendary in an alternate form.
Furthermore, can you explain where exactly you came across this game code? PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 08:26, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- If it were actually called a Legendary Pokemon, it would be called a such (伝説のポケモン). The text is saying that it became a legend. A myth. A fable. That context.--ForceFire 08:43, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
Misty's Jacket
I understand that you want me to wait for the episode to be aired but it was shown in the preview for the next episode, so is it alright for me to put it there again? (CuteSylveon42 (talk) 11:20, 27 January 2023 (UTC)) I saw that someone added ash's oshawott to the JN140 list of pokemon that is going to be shown in the next episode, I'm going to put my edit back since I don't see why not, so let's agree to disagree okay? (CuteSylveon42 (talk) 11:59, 27 January 2023 (UTC))
- Ash's Oshawott being on the character list for JN140 is not at all the same thing. I've once again reverted your edit, since it implies that the episode has already aired (which it hasn't). Additonally, your edit did not contain proper formatting (such as capitalizing "white" and "jacket", as well as containing an incomplete sentence). Referencing to the original ending
you wanted me to clarify more about this? I was looking at twitter and saw how it looks very similar to the original ending was (if you want, go to twitter and see it for yourself. (https://twitter.com/MistyForever101/status/1618954862129221633?s=20&t=x5CEizKeTbXvnAdvtSyBtA). (QuickJolteon (talk) 13:28, 27 January 2023 (UTC))
- Gotcha. I've added it back and reworded it a bit. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 13:40, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
Ash Lucario
What were the problems?
I was told that my grammar was consistently off, but I've managed to fix it. I am desperate to understand why failed to provide a suitable explanation for the deletion.
I'm thankful that we both viewed the program which displayed how strong Ash's Lucario is, earning it the title of powerhouse.Gian9456 22:34, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but there are actually several issues with your edits grammar/formatting-wise:
- 1. There's a random space between "member" and "of".
- 2. You put "Ash team" instead of "Ash's team."
- 3. "Capable of engaging in battles with formidable Pokémon owned by formidable Gym Leaders and Champions" is a sentence fragment.
- 4. You misspelled "efficiency".
- Outside of these issues, you've been told by several editors (including staff members) to not mention Pokémon being powerhouses on their pages since 2012 (which I even pointed out in my edit summary). While there are certainly Pokémon that are undeniably powerful like Ash's Pikachu and Ash's Lucario, it's ultimately subjective and it only raises debates as to which Pokémon are "deserving" of it. By this logic, all of the members of Ash's Journeys team could be called "powerhouses", which would definitely be repetitive. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 23:18, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- Despite my efforts, I am still encountering fragments in my work. I am greatly appreciative of that. Ash's entire team from the journey series are undeniably powerhouses, as they have all successfully battled and defeated regional champions.Thank You so munch. Do you have faith that Ash's Laprass, Pidgeot and Primeape will come back? What your thoughts? - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talk • contribs)
