The Icerend Shrine (Japanese: 凍裂の祠 Shrine of Frost Crack) is a small cave, located in West Province (Area One). It is the home of Chien-Pao.
Geography
The Icerend Shrine is a small room, where it's sealed the Legendary Pokémon Chien-Pao due to a sealed yellow door. The door is mainly locked by four chains that prevent its opening and only pulling out the eight yellow stakes close to the shrine can they be removed.
Once the player removes the eight stakes, they will hear Chien-Pao's cry. When they interact with the shrine's door, the Legendary Pokémon will come out. If the player defeats the Pokémon or they run from the battle, Chien-Pao will go back inside, the door will close, and it will be able to fight again the next day. Once caught, the shrine's door will always remain open.
