:I believe the idea is to specifically mention where some item/species makes a functional difference (such as where it's ''only Giratina'' who can actually hold Griseous Orb). It shouldn't be necessary to list all things that would be the default assumption anyway (such as "can be removed via Trick"). It's about ''direct functional'' differences, though; for example, for the [[Roseli Berry]], we shouldn't be listing "Is useless for Unown" (who has no access to Fairy-type moves). | :I believe the idea is to specifically mention where some item/species makes a functional difference (such as where it's ''only Giratina'' who can actually hold Griseous Orb). ::Well, there definitely are some functional differences (e.g., a non-Paradox Pokemon can {{m|Fling}} a held Booster Energy, whereas Paradox Pokemon cannot). Griseous Orb also can be held & used by other Pokemon in ways that Giratina cannot use it (only Giratina being able to ''hold'' it is purely a gen 4 thing), even if it's not practically all that useful to do so. Move/ability interactions
So, Booster Energy is similar to some other items associated with specific forms/groups of Pokemon in that item-manipulating effects range from outright ineffectual to perfectly functional (mostly depending on whether a Paradox Pokemon would be the one to obtain/lose the Booster Energy as a result). Would it be worth noting some/all of those interactions here? It seems like there's precedent for doing so for some items (like the Griseous Orb) but not for others (like the Rusted Sword). - I believe the idea is to specifically mention where some item/species makes a functional difference (such as where it's only Giratina who can actually hold Griseous Orb). It shouldn't be necessary to list all things that would be the default assumption anyway (such as "can be removed via Trick"). It's about direct functional differences, though; for example, for the Roseli Berry, we shouldn't be listing "Is useless for Unown" (who has no access to Fairy-type moves).
