Anchor Shot (Japanese: アンカーショット Anchor Shot) is a damage-dealing Steel-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Dhelmise.

Effect

Anchor Shot inflicts damage and prevents foes from fleeing or switching out as long as the user remains in battle. Wimp Out, Emergency Exit, the Red Card, the Shed Shell, and the Eject Button can bypass this effect.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Anchor Shot cannot be selected in a battle.

Generation IX

Despite being coded into the games, Anchor Shot cannot be used as Dhelmise is unavailable in Scarlet and Violet.
