If one of the holder's moves misses one of its targets because of an accuracy or evasion check, the Blunder Policy is consumed and the holder's {{status|Speed}} is increased by two stages.
If one of the holder's moves misses one of its targets because of an accuracy or evasion check, the Blunder Policy is consumed and the holder's {{DL|Stat|Speed}} is increased by two stages.
Blunder Policy does not activate if a [[one-hit knockout move]] misses, if {{m|Triple Kick}}, {{m|Triple Axel}}, or {{m|Population Bomb}} ends early by failing one of their subsequent accuracy checks, or if a move misses due to a target being in the [[semi-invulnerable turn]] of a move. The Blunder Policy only activates if the move misses, not for other reasons it might fail to affect a target (e.g. immunity due to type or Ability, being protected by a {{cat|protection moves|protection move}}, etc.).

If Dragon Darts would have missed one of its targets in a Double Battle for accuracy or evasion reasons, but the other target is successfully hit with the move, that target will be hit twice, and the Blunder Policy will still activate even though no message about missing a target ever appears.
Blunder Policy was introduced as a Pokémon Tool card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Sword & Shield Series (the Japanese Sword & Shield Era). It was first released in the Japanese S-P Promotional cards and the English Brilliant Stars expansion, with artwork by Ayaka Yoshida. It allows the player to draw three cards if the player lands on tails when flipping a coin for an attack of the Pokémon it is attached to.
