The Six Wonders of Kitakami (Japanese: キタカミ六選 Top Six of Kitakami) are six landmarks located around the land of Kitakami. Each of the wonders can be flown to via the Flying Taxi and is marked by a large signpost, which must be visited to unlock the ability to fly there.
Landmarks
Gracious Stones
- Main article: Gracious Stones
Only a select few know of this power spot… The Gracious Stones! Curiously, no grass grows within their ring. Curiouser yet, gazing upon them lifts the spirits!
Wisteria Pond
- Main article: Wisteria Pond
Taking a drink from the waters of Wisteria Pond is said to grant eternal life. Though it is nutritious and quite famed, please be sure to boil the water before consumption.
Mossfell Confluence
- Main article: Mossfell Confluence
The two rivers that flow from Oni Mountain converge here, at the Mossfell Confluence. People say that items lost upriver eventually wash up all the way down here.
Fallen Horn
- Main article: Fallen Horn
The large, pointed rock spire jutting out from the lake ahead is called the Fallen Horn. It’s believed that long ago, this giant rock was actually one of the horns atop Oni Mountain; when the horn fell, its tip broke off. This part of the horn, called the Mossened Boulder, is now enshrined at Kitakami Hall.
Crystal Pool
- Main article: Crystal Pool
Long ago, the Crystal Pool was infused with crystalline material from an unknown source. Its water has a faint glow, but it’s safe to drink and even serves as the village’s water source. Tales say that gazing upon the glowing water can allow you to meet those who have passed on.
Infernal Pass
- Main article: Infernal Pass
The Infernal Pass has been used as a training ground for years, despite the danger of the ogre's lair nearby. Volcanic gases constantly bubble up from under its rocky terrain.
