Magic Guard (Japanese: マジックガード Magic Guard) is an ability introduced in Generation IV that prevents indirect damage, such as from Hail, Toxic, or Leech Seed. It does not prevent status problems, but rather protects from damaging effects. Recoil and entry-damage such as Stealth Rock are also prevented.
Three Pokémon have this ability, all from the same evolutionary line.
