The Trick Master (Japanese: カラクリ大王 King of Tricks) is a character in Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. He lives on Route 110 in the Trick House.
In the games
He provides the player with eightRSE/sixORAS challenges, each beginning with him hiding somewhere in the front room. Once the player finds him, he gives a small speech and says that he will be hiding in the back. Once the player completes the challenge, he will reward them with a prize.
After all challenges are completed, the Trick Master disappears, leaving behind only a note saying he has gone on a journey to search for new tricks.

In the anime
The Trick Master's only anime appearance was in A Poké-BLOCK Party!, although he is referred to as the King of Tricks in the dub. Every year, he holds a contest at his Mauville Trick House, with the winner receiving a one-year supply of Pokéblock. The King of Tricks is a particularly eccentric character who often laughs maniacally and speaks in rhymes.

History
Ruby & Sapphire arc
Although he originally appeared as a minor character in this chapter, he redesigned the electric mecha hidden inside New Mauville so it could fly and helped Sapphire return to the ruins of Sootopolis City and participate in the final battle by heavily recharging Minun and Plusle. It is also revealed that he likes to visit different regions, such as Johto and Fiore, to improve his designs.
Emerald arc
The Trick Master is revealed to have helped Emerald, recommending him to Earl Dervish's Pokémon academy and building his outfit and equipment. Emerald calls him Cobbler as one of the first things he did with Emerald was measure his shoe size.
In Epilogue, he makes a cameo appearance on a boat heading to the Battle Frontier.
Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc
More recently, the Trick Master is seen watching a news report about a giant meteoroid that threatens to destroy the world. Later, the Trick Master is called to Sootopolis City to assist in stopping the meteoroid.
Black 2 & White 2 arc
In Epilogue: Graduation Ceremony, the Trick Master briefly appeared in the International Police office with Green.
