Andrew Mahone after ranking Top 32 at the 2023 World Championships.

Andrew Mahone is one of the most known players of Pokémon Trading Card Game history, being in notable spots at multiple World Championships and Regional Championships.

After some Regional event results, Mahone became a writer of strategy articles for PokéBeach from 2015 to 2018, a Pokémon fansite focused on the card game. In 2017, he partnered with the Derium’s Competitive Pokemon YouTube channel as a TCG player, which was adapted in 2018 to his own YouTube and Twitch channels named Tricky Gym.[1] These became some of the most popular sources of competitive Pokémon TCG content, where Mahone mainly showcases the game in tabletop or Pokémon Trading Card Game Live (formely Pokémon Trading Card Game Online) format. Mahone has also been featured in the official Pokémon YouTube channel on videos related to TCG strategies.

On July 31, 2024, the Pokémon TCG-themed reality show Pokémon: Trainer Tour was released, starring Mahone and fellow online content creator Meghan Camarena as hosts.
