Wales Island

Wales Island (Japanese: Wales Island) is an anime-exclusive location located in Hoenn. It is found in between Mossdeep City and Sootopolis City.

Although it appears to be a deserted island, it is actually home to Professor Proctor and his wife, Annie. Together, they resurrected several Fossil Pokémon. Initially, the Professor hoped to invite people from all around the Pokémon world to the island so they could see the Pokémon. However, after an Armaldo went on a rampage, the couple decided to leave the island as is. They promised Ash and his friends that they would keep the island a secret, and work hard to make sure the Pokémon would be safe.
